~A Hojo~


Hojo Clan members are known to be good team members and deadly light users. They posses the Kokoro toride, a dojutsu that has the abbility to cancel out other dojutsus, and use light and mirror like clan jutsu to overpower their opponents. The Hojo clan is known to be very strong and talented, but at the same time, patient and in control.
The Hojo clan have also been the local special tailors of sand village, this has been in the clan for decades. Always having great intrest of fabric. Hojo clan members uses their senbon to nit and sew. It is said that the Hojo clan is among the best senbon users of the world. Having great control and hand dexterity.

The Hojo clan members train themself to be both fast and good with controling light chakra.

~The Mind Fortress ( Kokoro Toride )~


Members of the clan who possess the bloodline all possess the same reflective eye that takes on the dominant colour of their environment; it has a mirror like shine. The bloodline is a passive dojutsu. The user cannot control it, but more it is an automatic defense. When an opponent uses their own dojutsu, the Kokoro Toride reacts by taking on the appearance of the dojutsu being use against them. At lower ranks, this ability simply confuses an opponent... giving the Hojo some extra time before the actual dojutsu is used against them. At higher ranks, the Kokoro Toride can actually cancel out an opponent's dojutsu. The eyes also have the ability to see the light spectrum more clearly aiding their jutsu and themself in battle.

* +3 Attack/Defense rolls
* Kokoro Toride (Lvl 3/Level 35+):

-The user is able to imitate the opponent's dojutsu appearance and cancel the effects for the remainder of the time they are within one anothers vicinity.
-Bonuses: +2 to rolls to cancel opponents dojutsu.
-PvP Effect: A WIS vs WIS roll is made upon the opponents activation. If successful, the dojutsu is canceled for the rest of the fight. If failed, the user may use a turn at any time to try to force it to work. This may be done as many times as the user wants, using a turn up each time.
(Note: The Clan Bonus ALSO applies to these rolls.)

Dance of the Firefly
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu

Description: The user is able to illuminate his environment by increasing the rate at which chakra flows through his body. This is the basis for most of the Hojo Clan's light jutsu and does not require hand seals. It is also unique to the clan in the sense that it requires little to no effort, and that their chakra is imbued with photonic particles. This method is very effective against shadow jutsu users as it minimizes the user's own shadow to a barely noticeable spec below them, making it difficult for techniques such as shadow bind.
PvP Effect: The shadow user receives a -2 to their ninjutsu.

Description: The Hojo's body is encased in a transparent orb of light that allows for attacks to pass through them. It is for this reason that some of members of the clan are rumored to be ghosts. The jutsu works by manipulating the user's molecules and keeping it in on a modulating phase sequence.

Description: The user discharges internalized chakra in the form of a pyrokinetic display. His opponent becomes partially hampered as their chakra, sensory system, nervous becomes slightly overwhelmed with the influx of foreign chakra energy.
PvP Effect: The opponent experiences vertigo for 1d6 rounds, giving them - the Hojo's WIS mod in spot and listen.


Mirage Cloak

Description: The opponent sees the Hojo disappear as his form is distorted in waves. Using this jutsu, a person can bend the light around them, making them invisible to normal means, until they're ready to attack an opponent.
PvP Effect: The user hides automatically and is undetectable by normal means(Regular spots and listens). Things that see chakra( Byakugan, Sharingan) and other work arounds (such as Inuzuka scent) can still find the target using a successful check v.s hide. The user can stay hidden this way for 1d6 rounds. When the user emerges and wishes to make a sneak attack, it's a normal sneak attack roll.

Shimmer

Description: The user quickly dissipates into particles of light, then reforms at a visible distance.
PvP Effect: This is a replacement for the flicker technique. When used in combat iy gives +2 to the next taijutsu attack. Rank damage.

Description: A disk of light forms above the user's head. From it edge of the disc, a beam of light shoots forth at the opponents.

Description: The user emits rapid flashes of photonic chakra from a disk that forms behind their head for the remainder of the jutsu.

Description: The user creates light all around the user, the user then shoots out the light in the form of shackles, binding and damaging the enemy.

Photonic Clone

Description: An equivalent of the Kage Bunshin Jutsu.
PvP Effect: The user momentarily flickers as a photonic clone is created. The clone is a holonic replica made of tightly woven concentrated beams of energized light. Works same as solid clone and follows solid clone rules.

Description: All sounds of wildlife are silent. Above, the clouds suddenly part outward, forming a halo. A beam of light suddenly shoots down from the heavens onto an opponents general area... oddly enough, no sound accompanies it. And just as it appeared, it is gone. An accelerate particle beam weapon is a type of directed-energy weapon that directs a high energy beam of atoms or electrons at a target, and thus causes damage by disrupting the atomic and molecular structure. While the mass of these particles are very low, the ultra high velocity imparts massive momentum.
PvP Effect: 3d8 damage to those within radius, ca one area AoE.



Holonic Barrier

Description: The Hojo perform seals to create a semi-transparent shield of colorful chakra light that streams forth from their hands and feet. The barrier is in a near constant state of flux so that it adapts to varying attacks, preventing them from going through, and has the ability to reflect them back to the opponent (in which case, the opponent needs to defeat or dodge their own roll in the same turn, this applies to taijutsu or ninjutsu projectile attacks only).
PvP Effect: The barrier is used as a shield and lasts for 1+1d4 rounds and grants +2 to defense(using wis) and can also counter projectile attacks or taijutsu attacks( WIS vs opponents roll)

Description: The user makes a line-of-sight dash at his opponent. By attaching their own illumine soul as a chakra anchor to a direct beam of light on an invisible wavelength, the user moves so quickly so as to leave ghost images in his wake.
PvP Effect: The user gets two taijutsu attacks on the opponent. Each does normal damage.

Kokoro toride: Eternal darkness
Jutsu type: Ninjutsu/Dojutsu

Description: The Hojo looks into the eyes of his opponent, creating a extremly bright light that tripples in brightness as it reflects into both the hojo and the opponents eyes. Burning the opponents optic lenses and natural eyesigh.
Pvp: the target goes blind and suffers -3 to rolls for the rest of the match and untill healed.

Kokoro toride: Mirror stars
Jutsu type: Genjutsu/Dojutsu

Description: The Hojo looks into the eyes of the opponent, by reflecting the image of light back to the opponent the Hojo catches them in their genjutsu. When trapped, the victim finds themself floating around the athmosphere, looking at starts that sends reflections of themself. The mirrors break as you float by and when every mirror breaks, a acid like pain sets in the victims body.
Pvp: Stunned for 1+1d6 rounds or untill hit. does 1d6 cp and hp dmg every round.

PvP Effect: As long as the bunshin is maintained when being attacked the attacker must roll 1d6. On a 1-3 the bunshin is attacked, on a 4-6 the real target is attacked.

-Triple Flash Blast Jutsu

Description: The user spreads their hands and gathers chakra between them, the chakra forms into three solid orbs of pure light that flash brightly on contact, all three orbs can be thrown all at one person or at up to three people.
PvP Effect: Each orb does 1d6 damage, so one person would receive 3d6 damage while three people would receive 1d6 etc etc. rp accordingly. In addition each orb does -2 to rolls for 1d4/2 rounds (minimum of 1 round)
Note: Uses dex to throw and the -’s to rolls do not stack, no matter how many times a person is hit with the orbs they will only ever receive -2.

A Heroes Comback

After the fall of Hojo Masako a great sorrow had spread through Sunagakure like an unstopable disease. The highly respected and beloved Jounin had fallen by his own good will. Many Hojos lured forth from their hidden compound near the Oasis as they were drawn by the bond that connects them all had been broken. They brought the fallen hero in for a last examination and to their horror they found Masako missing a single eye. The secrets of their bloodline that made one of the most feared and respected clans in Sunagakure had been leaked...

Hojo Nurse: "How did this happen? We can't bury him like this.."

The question shocked the attended Hojos that were unable to answer the question. Never had they experienced anything like this. They were filled with sorrow and despair that rendered them unable to do anything...until Hojo Yamato, the patriach of the clan entered the room.

Elder Hojo: "The question is not how and what happened, but what can be done to fix what is broken. Masako was one of the most talented and respected Hojos in Sunagakure and it brings great sorrow to my heart to see him like this, but we must remember what he stood and fought for. He fell victim to his own dream of peace and undestanding and paid with the highest prize. A world in peace and undestanding with each other is what we all strive for, but as long evil forces infect our lands this is not possible and the eternal struggle between light and dark will continue. Masako was a man who made us accept and undestand each others differences and a bearer of an ever illuminating light against the dark forces in our world...I had high expectations for you, young man.... my generation failed, but your generation must prevail and fix what we broke...let me do one last mission for our great village and grant you a second chance to put it right..."

With these words Hojo Yamato placed his wrinkly hand on Masako's chest and surged the last drops of his old life into the lifeless body...

Masako opened his eye and was greeted back with a mix of sorrow and joy and one single goal...to restore the honour of his clan and village.

PvP: 2d10 CP damage per round for 1d4 Rounds. Each of user's turns they are healed for 1/2 the amount of damage made from this Jutsu effect. Excess CP cannot go over User's Max CP, it just disappears. Cooldown 1d4+1 Rounds.

Masako's whereabouts are shrouded in mystery since he impulsively left the village to investigate a strange phenomenon. Rumor has it he is either dead or has left the village for an announcement amount of time.
