Katsu Bakuton - The Art of a Single Moment Iwagakure_Bombs

.:: Bakuton Special Ability ::.

An inheritor of the ability known as "Explosion Release".
Explosion Release (爆遁, Bakuton) is an advanced chakra nature. This chakra nature seems to give the wielder the ability to utilize explosive chakra in combat, allowing them to cause explosions in objects they come into contact with. The only known users of this nature were members of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps.

.:: PAST ::.

"I...should not have been so reckless, senpai. It was wrong of me to insist..." The boy dropped to his knees, presenting a small clay figure before him. Slowly he bowed down, until his head was touching the cold marble floor. "Please, you are the last stop I have to make today. Accept my apology, and this...I made one for each of you."

The Shinobi looked down to the boy and his clay figurine. The boy was still young, brash and impatient but perhaps there was yet potential in him. Potential to learn the special techniques granted by his secret training. The techniques his father guarded with his life, until the very end.

The Shinobi was impressed. Not only with the gesture of the boy, but with his art. The figurine must have been hastily crafted, but all the same the detail was exquisite; A nearly prefect replica of the Shinobi. The boy was fond of kneading clay, and could shape it even at a young age with precision. Such talent, such humility. The Shinobi could not help but smile.

"You are still young. I know it must be hard, but some things are worth waiting for. If you wish to create greatness, then time must be an ingredient." The Shinobi, a proud member of the Explosion Corp of Iwagakure, lifted the figurine and held it with care. "We cannot allow you to carry the secret of your father's techniques, it is too dangerous. That does not mean you are not a worthy young shinobi. Your father would be very proud of you."

Slowly, with head held low the boy stepped back onto his feet. He walked carefully to the door, closing it partway and turning around. He stood there now, idly in the doorway. He saw the Shinobi marveling over his miniature clay twin.

"Senpai..." Spoke the boy, his tone firm and resolute.

"Hm, What is it?" Spoke the Shinobi, who's eyes would not yet stray from his new idol.

"You should not speak for others. My father will tell you himself, just what he thinks of me!"

The Shinobi could feel his heart sink as he realized what was about to happen, but it was too late to react. The explosive tags wrapped tightly within the clay figure began to sizzle. The door slammed shut, and an angry shout rang out from the other side. It was the cry that would ignite several key points of the city in flames and chaos, that would end lives and send forth an unmistakable message; all in the beauty of a single moment..."Katsu!".

The boy left the village that day, scratching a thick line through his forehead protector and marking himself as a missing-nin. He vowed not to return, not until he was ready to claim from Iwagakure what should have been rightfully his.

With an empty stomach, and a heart filled with a sickening mix of rage and satisfaction, the young shinobi escaped to the Land of Rice. There he would stay for some time, while the dust settled in Iwagakure. The life of a missing ninja is harsh, and for Katsu it was no different.

Being alone in this land of crime was a death wish, and Katsu knew it. Little time would pass before he would find a master who could offer him some as-semblance of safety; Goliath. Katsu worked and mentored for a short time under this fearsome shinobi. During this time he was partnered with a missing bloodline limit shinobi, known as Kinzoku "Shard" Kanton. Though they often quarreled, Katsu learned the value of teamwork from Kinzoku and developed a number of new artistic creations. From Goliath he took in the knowledge of subtly and intelligence, though his personality and ability rarely offered him much of the later.

Much of his free time was spent perfecting his explosive art, hidden away in the Land of Rice. However, one thought remained ever present in the back of the artists mind, and he never did stop plotting his return to Iwagakure. From dust till dawn, the fires of his ambition grew on the winds of passion and hate. Each day was lived in preparation to snatch back from the village what was rightfully his.

Katsu successfully acquired and completed missions as a rogue bomber for hire, earning himself the right to survive in the harsh world of the missing ninja. After the mysterious disappearance of his master and partner, Katsu found himself drawn to another cause. A stranger approached him from the shadows, bringing an offer...

Explosion Release (爆遁, Bakuton) This chakra nature gives the wielder the ability to utilize explosive chakra in combat. It works by combining super-compressed earth element with the raw force of expanding wind release to give chakra explosive qualities. Though the users of such techniques may vary greatly, it is only achieved with special training and secret knowledge, and is considered by many to be an artform and a rare thing of beauty.

*Note: The wielders of Blast Element may only ever have Earth, Wind, and Explosion elements. They cannot have medical.
