15 Years ago, prior to Kumogakure's reemergence to the Shinobi world lived a young family that like much of the refugees from Kumo sought to find a new place to call home. The young family established a brief tenancy at the local inn in Rain Country's borders, the husband a local artist and painter was to work in maintenance for the village among other homes should they face mechanical difficulties - and the wife served as a bar-keep, helping to keep the patrons satisfied - but they also had a young child, named Sudoku who would stay cooped up in the couple's room often drawing to his hearts content as he showed to have much skill like his father.

Indeed the family had some hard-times ahead the next few years but none as hard as when Rain Country's village began to put more strain on the local population due to a regime change. Taxes were increased to the point locals could barely afford standard living, and putting more strain on Sudoku's parents as they are worked as slaves down to the bone. It led to the point where Sudoku's parents had no other choice but to leave Rain, in the hopes of escaping their debt that they have attained. The night they were packing, they recieved an unexpected visit from one of the shinobi gangsters that are in league with the new Regime controlling Amegakure. They demanded the remaining sum of Ryo to be paid, and if they dared to make an attempt to leave they would meet with an "unfortunate end". As a warning, the gangsters would destroy the apartment and toss their belongings to the ground like savages.

Feeling over-burdened by this very difficult life, and that there is no real hope for Sudoku to live a good life here in Rain. The parents acted out of desperation and 3 nights later, left the Inn in the shade of night and took nothing but themselves with them. Sudoku understood that this was more of a game, like the many his parents would offer him - but in this one the means to win was reach Fire Country's border while being very quiet. As the family make a dash towards the border, they met up with the same shinobi that had violated their home. Apparently they never left their eyes off the family, and sought a means for them to learn from this mistake - by abusing the Sudoku's mother. The father would not tolerate any of them to lay a hand on his wife, and attempts to fend them off for her - giving them the opportune moment for Sudoku and his mother to escape... but they would not get far as a soft groan of agony is heard echoing the dark swampy area of the father meeting his end.

Hiding out in a cave, Sudoku's mom beseeched her child to wait there for her until she reviewed the coast was clear for them to move on. She left Sudoku, believing it was another game - and that his father would return as she fights back tears, concern filled in her eyes for herself and her child... When the mother left the cave, it would be the last time he would see her again. Confusion, sorrow, and a dieing hope that his parents are alright and would return for him began to fill Sudoku's mind. He tried to keep himself distracted to draw a picture should his parents return, and try to uplift their spirits like they often would be after seeing his drawings. It was not the case...

Day-light breaks and the torrent of rain would cease for a moment a feint drizzle littered the land and Sudoku tries to backtrack his way to find his way home. On the side of the road he would find the bodies of his parents, mutiliated and pinned against the nearest tree to set an example of those who dare resist with the new Regime's Order. The same bandits that killed his parents, lingered in the vicinity - expecting the child to return and would seek to put an end to him as well. Facing his own demise, a man would calmly approach the group gazing at the individuals with hellish-crimson eyes burning brightly.

When asked who he was, the mysterious individual did not answer and retorted with another question of "What do you think your doing...?". Taking note of the man being an uchiha, the group members saw fit that it was an opportune moment to take a Sharingan back to their leader... It was a foolish act, one which the bandits would not live to learn from. One of the remaining bandits began to plead for his life as the Uchiha approached him, shortly after being lifted into the air as tiger-claws appear from the Uchiha's fist. The boy pleaded with the man to stop, as the Uchiha glares at the now orphaned child - and then back at the attacker that not only killed Sudoku's parents but tried to take away the birth-right of his clan. He would let go of the man, before in an instant swipe the claws at his neck - and leaving the man to drown in his own blood as he approached the boy... fresh blood dripping off the blades and the aura of death ever looming heavier onto Sudoku's consciousness... Until the Uchiha's shadow would cast over the boy, and then fade as he continued walking off.

From that day, the eyes of the Sharingan would haunt him - never gaining the man's name but was thankful that he exacted justice. Sudoku would return to Kumogakure some years later and trained within the ranks of Kirigakure, with a new Raikage being annointed - and upon discovering it was an Uchiha, he had hoped to pay the debt the other Uchiha made by giving his life in servitude to Saoren. Pledging to serve him and his clan till the end of his days.
