Taira Hyuuga: History
Birth:
Sunset reared it's head in Konohagakure on May 17, thirteen years ago. The sky was filled with a fiery red, yellow, and orange, but was off-set by the passionate purple that melded along with the other fierce colors. A young woman, probably only nineteen, stood outside the doorway into the Hyuuga Compound. She seemed only about 5'4" (162.56 cm), and had clear, white eyes that stared over the horizon. Her silky black hair flowed down to the middle of her back, her ocean blue gown flowing lightly towards the southwest with the wind. Her body showed no sign of being muscular, yet she was able to stand and walk with the large bulge in the lower part of her stomach.
"Shuuri, please come inside," An older voice called from inside the Compound. "The men will be home soon, and besides, you need your rest."
"Sorry to worry you, mother," Shuuri sighed, turning as she heard the oak door open. The older woman stepped outside, a smile placed on her lips, but a look of concern in her clear eyes.
"It is not you who I worry for darling; I know that you are safe here," She whispered in a soft tone, her eyes glancing to the slow, blanketing night that was on it's way. "My son, your husband, and our friends will return soon."
"Don't worry mother, Tensou will return with the others," Shuuri looked into the Compound with a blank expression. "He just ha-" She began, placing her hand over the bulge while wincing.
"Shuuri?" Her mother-in-law looked at her worriedly. "Dear, are you okay?"
"I think it's time," Shuuri gasped as she kneeled on the ground.
"Now?!" The older woman screeched. "Tensou isn't back yet though!" She was suddenly in a state of stress and panic.
"Mother!" Shuuri screamed. "Get some Medical Ninja now!" Her voice was shrill and wrecked by the internal pain. The woman moved as swiftly as she could, running along the cobblestone streets of Konohagakure. Upon arrival at the Hospital she retrieved two Nurses who began setting up a bed and two Medical Ninja who rushed back with her to retrieve Shuuri.
"Miss, please try your best to breathe and calm yourself the best you can," Said one of the Medical Ninja in a soft whisper, while his partner made his way over to Shuuri. Both Medical Ninja began to slowly and carefully lift her from the ground, keeping their grip tight so they will not drop her.
"Is...m-mommy...o-o...ok?" Came the quiet and soft voice of a very young male who was now standing at the doorway to the Hyuuga Compound. Grandmother looked back, and there in the doorway stood Kuja, dressed in a white short-sleeved shirt, and baggy black sweatpants. His black hair shined under the incoming moonlight, and his white eyes gave off a worried look. Out from behind him came the almost three-year-old Kyoukei, who stood in a white robe and was walking around barefoot. He tilted his head as the Medical Ninja began carrying Shuuri off towards the Hospital. Grandmother followed his gaze for a moment, but turned it back to the two young children in front of her.
"Come along you two; we're going to follow the nice men and Shuuri," She told them in a soft and calm voice so not to worry them. "Both of your fathers will be home soon." They followed along behind the Ninja and found themselves at the Hospital.
It was 20:17 (8:17 PM), and night had laid it's blanket over Konohagakure outside of the Hospital. Kuja and Kyoukei were remaining quiet in the waiting room with Kuja's grandmother, awaiting the return of their fathers. Shuuri was laid in a lowered bed, her face covered in drops of sweat, and her face distorted by pain.
"Ma'am, please breathe," One of the Nurses told her as she took a cloth and wiped some of the sweat off her face. Shuuri was breathing the best she could, and it was only taking away a little of the pain.
"Mother!" Shouted a young man, bursting through the door to the Hospital. The man who entered had raven black hair, that flowed down to about the middle of his bicep, and deep white eyes. He stood somewhere around 5'9" (175.26 cm) and looked strongly built around his shoulders. Behind him was a man, no older than the first, with long black hair, that came down to the middle of his back, and white eyes. The man looked to Kyoukei, who immediately ran to him.
"Daddy!" He shouted as his father picked him up from the ground. Kuja frowned a little, knowing that the arrival of Kyoukei's father meant that he would be leaving.
"She's in the back dear," The grandmother sighed and pointed down the hall. With a firm pat on the arm from Kyoukei's father and a motherly kiss on his cheek, he dashed down the hall to the room his mother had pointed towards.
"We'll take our leave also," Kyoukei's father nodded as he turned and left, with little Kyou in his arms waving to Kuja.
"You must be the husband, Tensou?" Asked one of the nurses as he entered the room. The woman was holding a clipboard, of which contained both Tensou's and Shuuri's medical records.
"That is correct," He forced out, taking in a few breaths to get back some air. The nurse pointed behind her to a drawn light yellow curtain. Tensou made his way behind the curtain, giving a slight, but calm smile to his dear wife. She was sat up with a pillow behind her to keep her elevated, with sheets over the top half of her body. He gave her a smile and quickly made his way to her side where he took her hand and squeezed lightly.
"Ma'am, we believe that the delivery will be beginning soon, so if you don't mind we would like you to begin the breathing excersises," One of the nurses explained with a kind smile. Shuuri nodded and began breathing how the nurse had shown her, keeping a hold onto Tensou's hand the entire time. At one point she squeezed Tensou's hand as hard as she could, which caused him to bite down on his lower lip to not shout anything. The nurse rushed over and began the preperations, another nurse and Medical Ninja following her in soon after.
"It'll be alright dear," Tensou stated, smiling to his wife. She gave him a pained smile before having to look back down, her face distorting to a pained expression.
"I want you to take in three breaths and then push when I say, alright?" The nurse asked, looking up to Shuuri. She received a small nod and watched as Shuuri took in three breaths. "Push!" Commanded the nurse. Shuuri pushed as she was told and quickly lost her breath, recovering momentarily afterwards. She gripped tightly onto Tensou's hand, causing him a great deal of pain, but not as much as it may for a normal person. Shuuri was definately everything, except strong.
"Once more please," Another nurse said, kindness flowing from her words. Shuuri took in three breaths, and on the command she pushed for as long as she could. After this push, she looked exhausted, from the effort and the pain.
"We need you to push one last time, with as much force as you can," The nurse at the end of bed stated. With a nod, Shuuri took in three deep breaths and pushed as hard as she could. Her face was drenched with sweat; beads of it rolling along her cheeks and off her chin. Her body relaxed as the pain had now been released. The nurse took the baby and wrapped it in a cloth, to begin wiping it off.
"My turn," The Medical Ninja said, moving in to begin healing Shuuri. Shuuri slowly slid down along the bed, sighing in relief. Both nurses left the room for a few minutes, to check the baby, and also to give Shuuri a time to relax. The nurses returned, one with the baby and another with a clipboard.
"Here you are ma'am," The nurse with the baby moved in close enough for Shuuri to take hold of the baby and move it towards her chest.
"Well; first of all, your newborn is a girl," Began the nurse with the clipboard. Both parents turned their attention to her as she continued. "She has no physical ailments, and seems to have been born at around the average weight, a little under, but nothing to worry over. There is one thing I need, however, and that is her name." Shuuri exchanged a glance with her husband and looked back at the nurse with a smile.
"Her name will be Taira," She exclaimed; a smile appearing on her lips afterwards.
"Taira..." The nurse repeated to herself as she wrote it down on the clipboard. "Alright then, please stay for a while and enjoy your time with your precious newborn." The nurse kindly nodded her head, and along with the other nurse and Medical Ninja, left the room, closing the door behind them.
Childhood:
Age 1 - 3: Learns to walk, begins learning one syllable to two syllable words; Speaks 10-20 words, listens to commands, begins addressing people with a greeting and begins mimicing parents and Kuja; Learns to run, climb into chairs, begins dressing and undressing herself, begins playing games with her brother, can speak 20-50 words; Advanced mobility and climbing skills, increased dexterity with small objects, can dress herself, able to speak in sentences and learn new words with ease, attempts to sing in-time with songs that her mother sings to her.
Age 4: "Come on onii-san!" A young girl's voice rang through the oak doorway. A boy, probably only about seven, turned the down the long corridor and ran towards her. His slender black hair flew loosely behind him at the speed he was running, his white eyes targeted right at her. He was dressed in a long white robe, and wore no shoes to cover up the his feet.
"I'm coming imooto-san, hold on!" He shouted, continuing his long run towards his younger sister. He slid to a complete halt, looking down at the young girl that stood before him. Before him was Taira, his younger sister, who had shoulder-length raven black hair, and gorgeous white eyes, much like his own. She carried an open, light brown basket in her arms for the activity they were about to embark on.
"Kuja, Taira, you two be careful, alright?!" Called their mother from down the corridor. They both nodded and then shut the large oak door behind them. Kuja stood still, looking down at his younger sister for a moment, before looking up and out along the grass towards the center of Konohagakure.
"We're still going to pick flowers, right onii-san?" Taira asked, tilting her head with her cute and innocent eyes looking up to him. A small golden bell sat on a decorated necklace that was hanging from her neck, and it jingled, giving off a lovely sound as she tilted her head. Kuja looked down at her with a smile and took a hold of one of her small hands.
"I'm still taking you to the gardens, hai," He sighed, walking slowly along the grass so not to drag her along. She managed to slowly keep pace with her older, and taller brother, staying close to his side and not straying off behind him. Their walk through Konohagakure consisted of the usual stops to get food at Teuchi's even though Taira never managed to eat the ramen on her own with chopsticks, so occasionally Kuja, or the parent that was with her, would feed her. They made their way to the gardens, where Taira immediately let go of Kuja's hand and ran off through the field to begin picking flowers to put into the basket.
"Come on onii-san! It's for mommy!" She yelled back to him as she leaned over to pick a beautiful iris from the vast garden. she placed it in her basket and leaned back to a straight positon. "Are you coming onii-san?" She questioned, turning to see him laying in the flowers and just staring up at the sky. Giggling, she made her way over to him and jumped down on him, landing across him.
"Oof!" He gasped, looking down to see Taira laying across him. He smiled slightly before laying his head back down and falling asleep in the garden of flowers once more. She smiled and got up slowly, going around and beginning to pick more flowers for their dear mother, and filling the basket much more quickly.
Age 5: Taira began some small training with her mother, learning very little things about Medical Ninja and their tools. She was taught that Medical Ninja are around to save the lives of those around them, and to protect themselves during battle. Besides the basic information and description of a Medical Ninja, Shuuri taught her what a bandage was, the use of cloth to soak up blood, and showed her some ointment to help treat severe burns on a patient.
Age 6: "Shit!" Cried the voice of an almost pre-teen boy out in the yard around the Hyuuga Compound. His long black hair dashed to the side as a gust of hair flew by him.
"Kuja! Watch your mouth!" Commanded the light voice of a young woman who was sitting on a smooth rock while watching what was taking place in front of her. Beside her sat a young girl with a cute golden bell tied on a necklace that was hanging from her neck. She had raven black hair and innocent white eyes that watched the battle in front of her carefully.
"Mommy...who do I want to win?" The little girl looked up to her mother, tilting her head in a questionable manner. The woman placed her hand on her daughters head and laughed softly.
"That is for you to decide my dear," Her voice was gentle and caring, her eyes looking back as she heard another foul word and a large "SMACK!" as Kyoukei landed a swift strike to Kuja's left thigh. "Kuja! I just said to watch your mouth!" Her voice changed abruptly as she yelled to her son, and the girl's older brother.
"Sorry mother!" Shouted Kuja as he dodged an open hand blow from another young male about his age. This other male also had long black hair that came down a little past his shoulders, his white eyes pinpointed on his target. Kuja threw an open palm forward, making his mark at the opponent and causing him to skid back slightly. "Come on Kyoukei! Let's impress Taira!" He shouted, putting on a large grin.
"Byakugan!" Kyoukei shouted lightly, the veins in around his eyes showing quite clearly as white iris' formed in his eyes. He ran an open palm forward, hitting his mark at Kuja's shoulder and making him stumble backwards along the smooth grass. Both combatants were currently barefoot, as was the young girl sitting by her mother.
"Fine; I'll play that way too! Byakugan!" The veins along Kuja's eyes showed themselves quite well as clear, milky white iris'formed in both eyes. He ran in to attack Kyoukei, using a Jyuuken strike. Kyou tried his best to dodge, but was unsuccessful and took a direct open palm blow to the lower chest area, between both of his lungs. He immediately dropped to the ground, coughing violently as he was breathing in to catch air back within his body.
"You're turn dear," Taira's mother whispered while helping her off the rock and lightly pushing her towards the two boys. She ran forwards at a steady pace and began digging through the pack she held in her arms. As she reached the kneeled Kyoukei, she pulled out a long roll of bandages and set the pack down beside her.
"Where does it hurt?" She asked in her cute little voice, the bell ringing softly with her arrival. Her clear eyes looked down to the hand that was placed on the lower part of his chest and then looked back to his pained face.
"It's fine Taira, really," He managed to say through clenched teeth, but after a few minutes of her poking him, he reluctantly moved his hand out of her way. Taira unraveled the bandages in her hand and began wrapping it around Kyoukei, going from the front, lower part of his chest, around his back, and returning to his chest. She continued this process about two more times before she pieced the bandage together with a large smile on her face.
"All better?" She asked, her face lighting up in hopes of his oncoming answer.
"Of course...all better," He smiled to her, taking his time as he stood, trying to look like he was suddenly healed with her help. Taira jumped up and down happily, as Kuja made his way over to both of them.
"Sorry about that Kyou...I guess I got carried away," Kuja sighed, scratching the back of his head, with a sweatdrop running down from his temple. The three of them continued to converse with one another, Taira jumping around every now and then.
"It seems that she is taking quite a liking to being a Nurse," Sounded the voice of a young man from behind the young woman. A large man, most likely around 6'6"(198.12 cm) stood behind her, watching the three children with his clear white eyes.
"Yes Tensou, I do believe she likes being a Nurse. However, her history lessons begin with you next year, remember?" She looked up to her strong-willed husband with a smile on her face.
"Shuuri, our daughter won't be the same as the others, you know that, right?" He sighed, looking down to his loving wife with a look of concern.
"You're right, she'll be both a Hyuuga and a Medical Ninja, a very interesting combination. There is something you are overlooking though; she is our daughter, and she is part of a clan that focuses in Chakra Control, and now combining that with her passion to be a Medical Ninja will excell her Chakra Control, and that in turn will help her in focusing on the Hyuuga Clan as well," Shuuri smiled as she stood up to face him, her overall look seeming compassionate and motherly. He placed his arms around her waist, and his expression seemed to soften as he looked into the beautiful white eyes of his wife. They both leaned in and kissed; while the kids sadly turned around at the wrong moment.
"EWWWWW!!!" The three children said in unison as they saw Tensou and Shuuri. The two broke their kiss and Tensou looked over with a confused look on his face.
"What's wrong you three?" He asked, letting go of Shuuri, his attention now on the children.
"Girls are nasty!" Once again all three children spoke in unison.
"..." Kuja and Kyoukei looked down at Taira, who was standing in between them. They were wide-eyed at her statement then looked back up to each other.
"You want to tell her?" Kuja asked, looking around with shifty eyes.
"You're her brother, you tell her," Kyoukei whispered to him, glancing down at Taira for a moment. Both of them began bickering back and forth with Taira between them.
"Tell me what?" Taira asked as she jumped up in-between them, giving a quick glance to both before landing back on the ground.
"NOTHING!" They both shouted in unison looking down at her with a nervous smile.
Age 7: Taira began her historical training under Tensou, her father. He explained the founding of Konohagakure, and how the Hyuuga were one of the first Clans that helped in it's building. She learned of their high respect and nobility within the Clan and outside of it to other Shinobi. He was just finishing in his explanation about the Byakugan and it's activation when...
"Daddy; why is Kyoukei different from us?" She looked up to him sadly, remembering all the times that Kyoukei was dragged aside as Kuja and herself would pass through the hallways during meetings or ceremonies.
"I was hoping you could learn that on your own, but because you asked, I see no reason in explaining," Her father sighed, though his tone was still powerful. "There are two branches within our Clan, the Main Branch, which includes myself, your brother, and you, along with two of your other cousins. The second branch, or the Sub Branches, consist of Kyoukei and his family, along with some of your older cousins. The reason for the Sub Branch is to protect people from the Main Branch, and this allows us to keep the secrets of the Byakugan. The true meaning behind why we have split is because, we of the Main Branch have married within the Clan and our Byakugan is not dilluted, while the Sub Branch at one point in their ancestry married outside of the Clan, therefore dilluting their Byakugan to a weaker state than our own." His tone was powerful, understanding, proud, but also disappointed as he released a deep sigh before placing his hand on Taira's head.
"So...we really are different?" Taira frowned, trying to make sure she understood the overall meaning.
"We are different from them, but we are all from the same Clan nonetheless dear," He smiled and patted her head gently. "Now run along, more training will begin tomorrow."
"Night daddy!" She shouted as she jumped up and hugged him.
Age 8: "Onii-san!" Taira yelled as she ran down the corridor of the Hyuuga Compound. She skidded to a stop in front of her brother, Kuja, and her closest cousin, Kyoukei. The both turned their heads to see the young girl making her way over to the time she stopped.
"Can I help you Imooto-san?" Kuja asked, looking down at her with a smile.
"Let's play hide and seek!" She shouted, jumping up and down in excitement.
"Well...you see I kind of can-" He started, until he heard sniffling and noticed that Taira had suddenly changed her face to long droopy eyes, they became glassy and almost tearful. "-can...kind of can! Of course we can play!" He shouted in triumph. Kyoukei just took the palm of his hand and smacked it into his face, sighing.
"Alright! You both hide!" Taira giggled happily, turning to face the wall and began counting. Both boys took off down opposite sides of the Compound, hiding behind barrels, boxes, and using Ninjutsu skills to cover themselves from sight. "...49, 50. Ready or not, here I come!" She shouted in a playful and happy voice. Her eyes darted left and right, and then stopped, looking straight at the wall.
Flashback: Her father stood above her with a smile as he explained about the Byakugan. "It's ability to see almost an entire 360 degrees makes us good for tracking an enemy who may be anywhere around us, however, some can only see so far," The flashback ended, Taira having a smile on her face while looking straight at the wall.
"Here goes," She sighed taking in a deep breath and closing her eyes. "Byakugan!" She quietly shouted, opening her eyes to no change at all. She frowned and closed her eyes once more. She took in and released a calm, soothing breath, making sure she was stable enough to hold the eyes. "Byakugan!" She shouted once more to herself, opening her eyes as the veins around them became visible, and the pupil in her eyes showing itself for the first time. She had done it, she was able to locate both her brother and cousin, along with many other members of the Clan. However, this only lasted a total of five seconds and deactivated as soon as she dashed off to find her brother. When she arrived at where Kuja had been hiding she poked at him three times before he finally decided to make himself visible.
"How did you find me?" He asked, looking down at Taira who had a large smile across her lips. "Did you?! Taira that's great!" He shouted as he picked her up into a hug and then set her back down. "Now let me find Kyoukei," He winked to her before closing his eyes. "Byakugan!" He shouted loud enough for Taira to hear, veins becoming visible around his eyes as he scanned around the house. They both darted down the corridor to a large group of barrels in the west wing of the Compound.
"Found you!" Taira shouted as she opened the barrel with Kyoukei inside of it.
"How did you find me?" He asked, sticking his head out then noticing Kuja, who had his Byakugan activated. "...Oh" He sighed, climbing out of the barrel.
Age 8 Appearance
Age 9: "I don't need a damn guardian!" Kuja yelled from outside the Compound, Taira watching from through a window inside. His hands were clenched tight as Tensou and Kyoukei stood around him as well.
"He was assigned to you Kuja," Tensou sighed, looking to his enraged son.
"That's the thing dad! He was -assigned-! I don't need someone to protect me! The one who needs someone protecting them right now is Taira!" He continued yelling in a loud voice, glancing fiercely at Kyoukei, who was standing there peaceful watching.
"If he believes he is too good for a protector, I would be honored to instead protect young Taira," Kyoukei quietly stated, looking calmly to Tensou with an interested look. Tensou's face hardened with rage, looking between both Kuja and Kyoukei.
"I can't believe I'm going to let you both do this! Kyoukei, you now will be protecting Taira, however, you will also protect Kuja, should the need arise! Is that clear?!" He commanded, looking directly at Kyou. Kyoukei simply nodded and then bowed politely before leaving, while Kuja just stormed off towards the Village center.
Later that night, Kuja returned, his hair now a white or silver color, looking nothing like the usual Hyuuga hair. Tensou was outraged by this sudden display, though besides the hair color, Kuja retained the normal Hyuuga traits. He was very stubborn, strong, high in honor, and therefore left Kuja be. Kuja continued on being a Genin since he had graduated from the academy two years ago, and now it was time for Taira's real training to begin. Her training began the day she entered the Academy...
Academy/Training:
Age 10: Her first year entering the Academy, Taira learned basic Shinobi skills, and against her will was forced into learning about different flowers with the other girls. Heavy training began with her father, as well with her mother. Tensou began teaching her about the Byakugan and it's abilities, the abilities she saw for only five seconds when she had been eight. Her training included the strain of holding the Byakugan each day for a longer period of time, and also to look for the flow of chakra in other family members throughout the Compound. The training with her mother was in Chakra Control. Her Chakra Control training was to focus the chakra to her hands for long periods of time, readying her both for her Hyuuga training and for her Medical training in the future.
Age 11: Throughout her second year of the Academy, Taira changed her hair style by putting it in a ponytail. This managed to keep her growing hair out of her face during training, studying, and test-taking. Her overall grades in the Academy began rising in her second year, as she applied a great deal of knowledge from her studies from the year before and those from the break. With the graduating of a few individuals from when she was ten, Taira was beginning to rise up in the class in Chakra Control. To further her training with her father, she'd spend every afternoon with him, practicing her hand to hand combat, and developing her use of the Byakugan. He began by teaching her to concentrate on his own body searching for the keirakurei, or the chakra network, and focus on only that. She managed to do that pretty easily, however, he told her to try and hold the eyes and concentrate, causing her to last long periods of time with concentrating. After progressing greatly in that with her work in Chakra Control, the next step was to strain it's use, by making her focus in battle. Tensou fought against her, dodging her strikes left and right, her inate flexible ability showing itself for the first time. She managed to bend backwards and strike him while upside down, surprising him only slightly, until he tripped her off her feet. After the afternoon training with her father, she would eat dinner with the family and be taken aside by her mother when they both finished. This year, her mother focused on teaching her about the Tenketsu, which her mother explained was 361 pinprick-sized nodes within the body, a persons chakra points. Once she had been introduced to the Tenketsu and the keirakurei, her mother continued to further Taira in controlling her chakra throughout her body.
Age 12: This year of the Academy, Taira decided to do something new, and had made a nickname for herself. She uses the three letter name 'Tai' to avoid her "Girlier" name, Taira. Many of the girls already mocked her for being able to get along with other males better than other females, but this only caused the mocking to increase. As for her classes; her sparring scores began to rise, though they were not excelent, they weren't below average either. Her grades in Chakra Control excelled above many of her classmates, though she still was not the best, she was definately one of them. When she'd arrive home, she'd endure brutal training from her father, both to actually train her, and to help in relieving stress from the day. Tensou began teaching her to use the Jyuuken, which took the concentration of chakra to her hands; what her mother had begun teaching her two years ago. She was able to manage the chakra control with ease, however, she then had to release the chakra into the keirakurei, and he also wanted her to release it into the Tenketsu. She took a while to get this even slightly down, and her father blamed it mostly on pressure from the others at school, though he did seem troubled by it all the same. With her mother, Taira began learning to use Senbon, which her father was scepticle about, since normally Hyuuga's were focused in hand to hand combat for the use of the Jyuuken. He did not object, but he did continuously place his thoughts in on how she seemed to be focusing more on using the Senbon then her hands. Currently; she is still training with the Jyuuken and the use of senbons, which she chooses to use in prefrence to the usual tools of a Shinobi, the kunai and shuriken.
Academy Graduation Apperance (Age: 13)
Talk Show:
(This part is just to describe something about Taira, but wanted to do something a little funny)
"We're here tonight with the one and only Kyoukei Hyuuga!" The man announced as Kyou walked out from behind the curtain. The crowd cheered as the sixteen year old made his way onto the stage.
"Thank you, everyone, it's nice to be here," Kyoukei said, bowing to the crowd.
"Now, I believe we brought you here today to tell us something interesting about your cousin?" The talk show host asked as he sat in his red-velvet chair.
"You did," Kyoukei answered while sitting in the rough brown chair he was made to sit in.
"So...time to begin your tale!" The man shouted towards the crowd; his eyes darting quickly back to Kyoukei with interest.
"Alright, so we'll begin with the Taira that I see on a normal basis. This "mode" shows her calm side. While in her usually "mode" Taira likes to study, and usually just expresses her emotions like a normal person. She makes many friends while like this, and never appears to show any anger. This is also the "mode" she is usually in when one is to find her doing one of her hobbies; dancing," Kyoukei explained, looking towards the crowd, projecting his voice out to them. The crowd took a moment to gasp in surprise.
"Dancing you say?" The talk show host seemed absorbed by this detail
"Hai, dancing," Kyoukei nodded. "Now please let me continue," He snapped a little.
"Of course! Go on!" The gentleman shouted.
"Her second "mode" was developed from the anger built up from being mocked by the girls during her first three years of the Academy. This "mode" could also be at fault because of Kuja and myself. We call this mode her "boy mode". While like this, she tends to make rude comments and usually lashes out in a fury towards her opponents. I've only seen her like this during her training with Tensou, so I'm guessing it may only show during spars or actual fights," Kyoukei continued his explanation of Taira. "Her last and final "mode" is a special one, that even I don't like to see. It scares me how different she acts while in this "mode". While like this, Taira will become very jumpy, which is I guess more embarrassing than scary when I think about it. She gets hyper, up in people's faces, and continuously asks questions; she becomes absorbed by the subject," He stops as he scoots his chair to the side, away from the talk show host. "Much like you are now..."
"KYOUKEI!!!!" Came the loud shouting of a young girl running in from behind the curtain. "You promised you wouldn't say anything!" She ran in and tackled him in a hug, knocking the chair over.
"Sorry!" Kyou yelled as he was thrown from his chair.

"...."
"...GASP..." <---the crowd.
"Well...folks," The talk show host began, looking around with shifty eyes, "...that concludes this segement of todays show! Please come again and get home safely!" He finished then ran off the stage and out the door.
