| Hyuuga  One of the two grand pillars, and a founder of proud Konohagakure.. The Hyuuga Clan is recognized as one of the two founding clans of Konohagakure. The Hyuuga Clan gained a large amount of respect during their time in the Warring States period, and continued to rise in repute and power after Konohagakure’s foundation. Through careful application of eugenics and strong clan tradition, the Hyuuga have been able to keep their valuable Kekkei Genkai - the All Seeing White Eye [Byakugan] - inside of their own clan. To date, all Hyuuga kinsmen possess this ability, which grants them a greatly extended field of vision and the ability to see through solid objects, as well as the chakra circulatory system of other living beings. Hyuuga kinsmen are also unique in that they are the only widely known Shinobi who are capable of expelling chakra from any of the tenketsu throughout their chakra network. The combination of being able to expel chakra from their body, as well as being able to see the Chakra Networks of other beings has led them to create their own unique Taijutsu style - referred to as the Gentle Fist [Jyuuken].
The Hyuuga Clan, recognized as one of the three great Dojutsu Clans, are said to be direct descendents of the Shikaku no Tetsujin - or the Sage of Sight. They are considered to be one of the most powerful clans currently in Konohagakure, with their only rivals being that of the Uchiha Clan. Though they have been localized inside of Fire Country, many Shinobi from the other four great nations, as well as several lesser nations, know the Hyuuga for their prowess in Taijutsu, their above average intelligence, their All-Seeing Eye, and their ability to adapt to nearly any situation.
Aware of their own reputation, the Hyuuga Clan separated into two parts under the Clan’s Founder - Hyuuga Tokume. During its foundation, Tokume created the Main House [Souke] and the Branch House [Bunke]. This system of split houses was meant to protect the Byakugan from falling into the hands of outsiders. While a direct lineage of Shinobi held position in the Main house, Shinobi from the Branch House were tasked with the ultimate duty of defending them with their lives. In order to ensure that members of the Branch House were not considered equally susceptible, a cursed seal was placed upon their forehead. This seal’s initial purpose was to destroy the Byakugan if the Hyuuga were to ever die. It was also used as a way to kill a member of the Branch House if they were taken captive or otherwise held hostage or ransom.
Though the Main House and Branch House initially held each other in high regard, one of Tokume’s ancestors took a decidedly different approach. During a particularly bad stint in the Hyuuga Clan, the Main House was particularly tyrannical, using their seal and control over the Branch House in order to coerce them into acting much like indentured servants. The seal was used as a form of corporal punishment, instead of being used solely for the purpose of protecting the Byakugan. When power within the Clan finally fell to Hyuuga Misako, one of the more prominent Hyuuga clan leaders during the Sengoku period, he set out to right the wrongs that his ancestors had left behind. Unfortunately, the damage had been done, and while the outlook of the Branch House had significantly improved, the animosity between the two houses did not.
The Hyuuga Clan operates under a series of laws and a history of clan tradition when it comes to determining who falls under the Main House, or the Branch House, and who is suitable to lead either of those two branches: [A member of the Destined is a member of the main family. A Warden of the Eye is a member of the branch family.] - Hyuuga Succession Laws:
One’s status within the Houses is determined within the first five years of life.
A child born to a mother and father of the Main Family are forever one of the Destined.
A child born to a mother and father of the Branch Family are forever a Warden of the Eye.
The firstborn of a Destined mother and a warden father, or of a Destined father and a warden mother, is forever a member of the Destined. All of their siblings, regardless of the fortune of the firstborn, are considered wardens of the eye.
A child born to a Destined father and an unknown mother rest their fate with their father. They may be declared either a member of the Destined, or a Warden of the Eye.
A child born to a Destined mother and an unknown father are forever Destined.
Wardens may be adopted into the ranks of the Destined, and Destined may be exiled to the rank of the Wardens.
If no Warden is declared suitable to lead their ranks, the first male born to the Head of the Destined may be trained to lead the Wardens. This individual is referred to as the Warden of the Destined, and protects his eldest sibling from all harm.
The Head of the Destined is chosen by their predecessor.
Traditionally, the Head of the Destined is the eldest of their kin. Should their kin prove to be more suitable, then they may usurp him. Rarely, the successor of the clan is decided from another family of the Destined.
Traditionally, if no heir has been selected prior to the death of the Clan’s Leader, then the eldest male of the Destined is chosen to lead them.
Traditionally, if multiple children are born, at the same time, to a single mother, then the first child to enter the world is considered Destined, regardless of his parents’ status. All children born after are considered to be their warden, and the children are not separated from one another. If the first child is to die in the first five harvests of life, then its kin are left amongst the wardens, to defend the Hyuuga from the evil omen that claimed their brother or sister
The traditions of the Hyuuga are considered to be acceptable exceptions to the laws provided, though the clan leader may decide to follow the laws strictly in order to avoid any mishaps, or in order to circumvent any succession troubles amongst their own children.
The Hyuuga Clan, usually caught up in their own traditions and practices, find themselves naturally drawn to make friends with those who value honor, loyalty, duty, and respect to others. Nearly all Hyuuga are proud of their status within Konohagakure, even if they might not be proud of their status within their own clan. The Hyuuga Clan, notably, gets along incredibly well with the Uchiha Clan and the Nara Clan, but incredibly poorly with members of the Sarutobi Clan. They regard members of the Inuzuka Clan with hesitation and apprehension due to the clan’s fiercely independent nature, and regard members of the Aburame with a reluctant respect as a result of their contemplative and adaptive nature. They currently stand neutrally amongst other clans of Konohagakure.
Hyuuga Bloodline AbilitiesByakuganThe Byakugan (白眼; Viz "Evil Eye" or "All Seeing White Eye"; Literally meaning "White Eye") is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai, a genetic trait, that is shared amongst the members of the Hyūga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes. Although it is not stated directly, it is assumed that all members of the Hyūga family possess the Byakugan. It has been said that the Sharingan is a genetic offshoot of the Byakugan.The Byakugan is the primary focus of the Hyūga's special arts. When the Byakugan is activated, their pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. - Abilities of the Byakugan:
The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra.The second ability is having the ability to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person. However, the third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, as well as the chakra circulation system inside another's body. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. Unlike the Strong Fist, which is focused on external injuries, the Gentle Fist style focuses on internal injuries. Each strike, when placed correctly, strikes along the Chakra Pathway System, which is the network of vessels that carry chakra. This network is closely intertwined with the functioning of the body's organs, and so, when the keirakukei take damage, the organs suffer as well. There is no defense against the Gentle Fist, since one cannot train one's internal organs to become stronger. The only possible defense is to stop the Gentle Fist's hits from connecting.

| Hyūga Jutsu
These jutsu are available to anyone who has the Hyūga core slots. Their specialities are Damage and CP Costs. Custom jutsu for this clan should revolve around the ideas of the Gentle Jutsu.
Disrupt Chakra Point
Hit a target’s chakra point to disturb their flow, making the user less efficient with how they produce workable jutsu.
Type/Rank: E-rank Hyūga taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Cost: 1CP
Effect: Single Target Attack, deals base damage-1. Increases Taijutsu CP costs for the target by +1 for 1 round.
Note: Multiple CP costs increase do not stack, only the highest applies. The duration is stacked however
Expand Byakugan
By feeding the unique eyes of the Hyuuga more chakra, the vision of the eyes can expand further than usual.
Type/Rank: E-rank Hyūga Dojutsu (WIS)
Cost: 1CP
Effect: Can use chakra detection 1 area further than normal with your next chakra detection roll.
Note: Out of Combat Only.
Lesser Vacuum Palm
Precisely target the vitals of the enemy and thrust the palm outward, using chakra to make a vacuum shell, impact the enemy from a distance.
Type/Rank: D-rank Hyūga Ninjutsu (DEX)
Cost: 2CP
Effect: Single Target attack, Deals base damage+1d2.
Gentle Fist Stance
By taking a low, wide stance with palms outstretched, you prepare yourself for the refined motions of the Gentle fist taijutsu style.

Cost: 2CP, +2 Upkeep
Effect: All Taijutsu attacks increase the CP cost of the target by +2 for 1 round. Attacks cannot crit while active.

Close Chakra Point
By hitting a chakra point hard enough, it will close to chakra trying to move through it. Making it hard for the victim to use chakra.

Effect: Single Target attack, Deals base damage and increases the CP costs for the target by +2 for 1 round.
Note: Multiple CP costs increase do not stack, only the highest applies. The duration is stacked however.
Eight Trigrams: 32 Palms
A lesser version of the renowned technique of the Hyuuga. With 32 strikes, many chakra points are closed while damaging the opponent.

Cost: 4CP
Effect: Single Target Attack, Deals base damage +1d6. Adds +2CP cost for D2 rounds to the target.
Note: The defender gains +2 vs. this jutsu when they use WIS/INT.

The renowned and feared technique of the Hyuuga that is said to close all the chakra points of the target.
