The Variable of the Sunny Place Hot-tempered, coarse and defective. These are things she has been described as by her academy teachers. What Hyuuga would spawn a child like this? It's unbecoming of the noble clan. But yet, She exists and Kahenha is well-versed in making that known. People who know her really, see something else. Something softer. Maybe she has her reasons and her excuses. Maybe she's another product of the system of her clan. What is certain? Her foul mouth. Name: Kahenha Hyūga

Affinity: Water Description:Kahenha stands at a fair 5' 2'' in height; sporting a lean but athletic build. Her skin is a light khaki shade that gives good contrast to her rich umber hair. As per any typical Hyūga clansmen, she has the infamous pale blue eyes of the Byakugan. Tender sloping features and a short button nose gives Kahenha a rather gentle appearance. However, with thick, angular eyebrows she augments her look into something more wild. n terms of clothing, she prefers things that are casual, light and airy. Kahenha even wears wrappings on her feet instead of shoes; she calls it liberating. Unlike her rather formal family, she prefers some colour to her clothing; getting joy out of fashion. She regrets having to do away with it all that at home, her parents wouldn't tolerate it. Personality:On first impressions, Kahenha is crass and hot-tempered, betraying the more sensitive nature beneath. She enjoys tripping people up around their own words and talking big about herself. Kahenha shows a fair amount of intellect and intuition but that gets muddied behind her flip-flopping between wanting attention and trying not to make people dislike her. Those who know her better understand that beneath the boisterous facade is a loyal friend. They would know at her core, Kahenha is a good person; even if her life won't always allow her to be. She was born to privilege under the banner of a well-respected member of the Hyūga clan. Her father, Henshumaru carried weight in political circles and her mother, Kyohan drew respect from the women of the clan; regardless of house. The subjugation of other clans had taken it's toll on the the Hyūga; Henshumaru, from this feeling, was infuriated when the leadership of the clan themselves 'bowed down' to 'inferior' clans. He felt they were terribly mistake and would see the end of a knife faster than true comradry between the clans. So he set about pushing himself into a position to take the clan head role. Done through false documents, doctoring family trees; manipulating people to be used to the idea of his family being head.
Unfortunately, as Kahenha started training, a defect was found in the chakra systems around her Byakugan; causing obvious leakages of chakra when the child was put under stress. Henshumaru's plans were ruined?! How could a pure blooded Hyuuga of leading blood have a defective daughter?! He would have to not acknowledge her publicly. He loved her but his passion to save the Hyuuga was too great. Kahenha was now an adopted daughter, an orphan taken in by the generosity of Henshumaru.
To avoid having to be with her in public, he placed Sogo, a side branch and 2nd cousin to Kahenha. He grew to be her father figure and opened her up to Konoha as a whole. She grew energetic, rambuncious, herself. But happiness was not to last. Kahenha was caught snoozing against Sogo after hard days training. Henshumaru misinterpreted what his daughter spoke of as the worse possible thing, that Sogo had been grooming his daughter. The side branch was to die by the seal on his head had Kahenha not begged her father to stop. Instead, he was placed into missions far away for years and has yet to return.
Kahenha went through the academy roughly; perhaps starting the most fights and ending the most fights. Her grades were lackluster for a Hyūga but tests were '########' as she put it. When it mattered, she excelled, and passed. What grudge she has on her father and how she feels about her defect are to be discovered.

Note: While active, you are entitled to know other people's current CP and use that knowledge in-character.
Note: Every round the Byakugan is active, accumulate 1 fatigue. Every round the Byakugan is in-active, fatigue reduces by one. For every 10 points of fatigue on the user, all their rolls are reduced by 1. The Byakugan may be turned on and off with a free action.
Note: An active Byakugan counts as having an upkeep cost of 0CP. Effects that increase CP costs increase the upkeep.
- Flexible Jyuuken - Custom (2PP):
Taking it upon herself to become better with her chakra control, she began to practice molding a Jyuuken effect from a number of different chakra points all over her body. The most practised of which being typical striking points for taijutsu, such as knees, feet, hands, elbows and head. It is generally a weaker closure of the tenketsu of the target that can be opened with some strong chakra but the style suits her aggression.
Base I: Damaging a target with taijutsu deals the 'Chakra Point strike' effect (Max +2). DC15.
Upgrade I: Damaging a target with taijutsu deals the 'Chakra Point strike' effect (Max +3). DC20. Level 20 Only.
Upgrade II: Damaging a target with taijutsu deals the 'Chakra Point strike' effect (Max +4). DC25. Level 30 Only.
Note: 'Chakra Point Strike' Increases the next CP cost on the target by 1 up to the listed max. Target rolls CHA to break the effect on their turn.

- Echoing Fist (1PP):
Base I: Gain a secondary attack that deals D4 damage. 1 round cool-down.
Upgrade I:Gain a secondary attack that deals D4+1 damage. 1 round cool-down.
Upgrade II:Gain a secondary attack that deals D4+2 damage. 1 round cool-down.
- Aggresive Pressure - Custom (3PP):
Pain is an oppressive force, it steals language, agency and clear-minded thinking away. Kahenha doesn't ignore this fact, aiming for chakra nodes that are closest to sensitive pain receptors to double her efforts in toppling her opponent:
Base I: Taijutsu does +1 damage/Hit
Upgrade I: Taijutsu does +D2 damage/Hit
Upgrade II: Taijutsu does +D3 damage/Hit
- Raishūmanken (All-Attacking Fist) - Custom (2PP):
A variant of the ubiquitous styles of Jyuuken. Created by Kahenha Hyuuga. She emphasizes aggression and pressure towards to opponent, bursting through their attacks with well-timed, destructive bursts of chakra. Add to this the speedy, multi-strike arts of the old gentle fist and she wields a style that could look suicidal from on-lookers but takes careful consideration of timing and tactics.
Upgrade I: Gain 'Raishu' taijutsu element. It's specialities are CP Costs, Duratio nand Negatives. Create 1 E, 1 D-rank and 1 C-rank Jutsu of this type.
Upgrade I: Create 2 C-rank Jutsu of this type.
Upgrade II: Create 1 B and 1 A-rank Jutsu of this type.
- Modori-Oni (3PP):
Typical to Kahenha, even her purely defensive tactics employ pressure and aggression. Specific Chakra bursts shred the molded ninjutsu attacks; Deflecting attacks and sweeping with momentums lessens Taijutsu. Just being plain Irate during genjutus also applies. Even if she fails to block, her efforts in breaking other's attacks lessens their impact.

- E-Rank - Disrupt Chakra Point:
Hit a target’s chakra point to disturb their flow, making the user less efficient with how they produce workable jutsu.
Type/Rank: E-rank Hyūga taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Cost: 1CP
Effect: Single Target Attack, deals base damage-1. Increases Taijutsu CP costs for the target by +1 for 1 round.
Note: Multiple CP costs increase do not stack, only the highest applies. The duration is stacked however
- E-rank - Expand Byakugan:
By feeding the unique eyes of the Hyuuga more chakra, the vision of the eyes can expand further than usual.
Type/Rank: E-rank Hyūga Dojutsu (WIS)
Cost: 1CP
Effect: Can use chakra detection 1 area further than normal with your next chakra detection roll.
Note: Out of Combat Only.
- D-rank - Gentle Fist Stance:
By taking a low, wide stance with palms outstretched, you prepare yourself for the refined motions of the Gentle fist taijutsu style.
Type/Rank: D-rank Hyūga Taijutsu (DEX)
Cost: 2CP, +2 Upkeep
Effect: All Taijutsu attacks increase the CP cost of the target by +2 for 1 round. Attacks cannot crit while active.
Note: Multiple CP costs increase do not stack, only the highest applies. The duration is stacked however.
- C-rank - Eight Trigrams 32 Palms:
A lesser version of the renowned technique of the Hyuuga. With 32 strikes, many chakra points are closed while damaging the opponent.
Type/Rank: C-rank Hyūga taijutsu (DEX)
Cost: 4CP
Effect: Single Target Attack, Deals base damage +1d6. Adds +2CP cost for D2 rounds to the target.
Note: The defender gains +2 vs. this jutsu when they use WIS/INT.
- B-rank - Eight Trigrams 64 Palms:
Eight Trigrams: 64 Palms
The renowned and feared technique of the Hyuuga that is said to close all the chakra points of the target.
Type/Rank: B-rank Hyūga Taijutsu (DEX)
Cost: 6
Effect: Single Target Attack, Deals base damage +1d8+1. Adds +2CP cost for D2 rounds to the target.
Note: The adefender gains +2 vs. this jutsu when they use WIS/INT.

Strong Strike
Put weight into your blows to burst past the blocking of your opponent.

- E-Rank - Swift Strike:
Out-manoeuvre a slower opponent to push past their defences and deliver a blow.
Type/Rank: E-rank taijutsu (STR/DEX)

Effects: Single Target Attack, deals base damage-d2
Note: Defending against this with DEX takes a -1.
- D-rank - Elbow Strike:
Swing out the elbow into the soft parts of the enemy. The point of the elbow acts like a stiff blade dealing more damage.
Type/Rank: D-rank taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Costs: 2CP
Effects: Single Target attack, Deals base damage + 1D2 damage.
- Water-Style Ninjutsu:
Specialties: HP DMG and HP DR - E-rank - Slick:
The user makes a hand seal and spits water out in the way of an incoming fire jutsu to try and lessen the damage.
Type/Rank: E Rank Suiton Ninjutsu (WIS)
Cost: 1 CP
Effect: Defensive Action, user gains +1D4 DR vs Fire Jutsu
- Water-Style Taijutsu:
Specialties: HP DMG and HP DR - D-rank - Ari-gui (Ant-Eater) - Custom:
Spearing into combat like an anteater tongue. This technique uses Jyuuken style chakra control, water element and quick taijutsu to produce explosive counters at short distance. Although this particular technique is slow in execution.
Type/Rank: D-Rank Water Taijutsu (DEX)
Costs: 2CP
Effects: Single target attack, Deals Base DMG+1d3
- C-rank - Roharetsu:
A variant of the vacuum palm engorged with water chakra. The user points their hand towards an incoming attack and from it unleash a tapered oval of chakra in similar method to the vacuum palm; The torrent of momentum from the spinning weight rips through materials, just as Jyuuken techniques do, pushing through to the attacker although the momentum of the technique is severely reduced.
Type/Rank: C-Rank Water Taijutsu (DEX)
Costs: 4CP
Effects: Defend Self. Gives 1d3 HP DR (Nin) for 2 Rounds.
- C-rank - Roharetsu:
A variant of the vacuum palm engorged with water chakra. The user blocks as they normally would but expels a burst of chakra from their body part doing the blocking. The tenketsu control is used to spread a viscous water from the blocking position, reflecting the blow, giving the briefest of windows to jyuuken strike the target.
Type/Rank: C-Rank Water Taijutsu (DEX)
Costs: 4CP
Effects: Defend Self. Gives 1d3 HP DR (Tai/Ken) for 2 Rounds.
- Water Blade:
Water style: Water blade
With one handed seal, user forces water chakra into the blade itself, wrapping it in low friction layer, to make a deeper and more sinister cut.
Type/Rank: Water Kenjutsu (STR/DEX)
Cost: 4 CP
Effect: Base Damage+d6 bonus damage
- Raishūmanken (All Attacking Fist) - Custom:
Specialties: CP Costs, Duration and Crit Range - E-rank Eight Trigrams - Rupture:
Eight Trigrams: Rupture
A refinement of her other defensive techniques that doesn't require water chakra to work. Through the use of Jyuuken, she strikes out at the attacker and negates their attack through breaking the chakra structure of their attacks. This exposes the opponent to angles of counter-attack previously unexpected.
Type/Rank: E-Rank Hyuuga Clan Taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Costs: 1CP
Effects:Defend Self. User's next attack has its crit range increased by 3.

- D-rank Eight Trigrams - Palm Heel Strike:
Eight Trigrams: Palm Heel Strike
Thrust the palm towards the target's solar plexus. Specifically using the palm closest to the wrist to keep the strike sturdy. The imparted chakra through Jyuuken has greater access to important internal organs through this strike. Can also be used with other hard parts of the body like heels and knees.

Costs: 2CP

Eight Trigrams: Flying Palm
This is not so much a single technique but a number of different strikes and tactics that adapt the user for fighting multiple opponents. Including short bursts of speed as if from the mainline Palm jutsu.
Type/Rank: D-Rank Hyuuga Clan Taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Costs: 2CP
Effects: Attack two Targets, Deals Base damage.
(2JP, -2JP on +1 Target)
- C-rank - Misdirect:
Eight Trigrams: Rotation Misdirect
The user preforms an unbalanced version of the Rotation technique that kicks up clouds of dust and debris. This masks their swift expect from the battlefield; residual chakra pushed to the legs for increased speed.
Type/Rank: C-Rank Hyuuga Clan Taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Costs: 4CP
Effects: Used for escape attempts, gives +1d5 to escape rolls for 1D2+1 rounds.
(4JP+2JP non-attack. -5 for escape rolls, -1 for +2 duration.)
- C-rank - Eight Trigram:
Eight Trigrams: Double Palm Heel

Inspired by a loved one she had lost to execution. Kahenha trained to reverse engineer a technique he had showed her. It took mixing the feeling of the loved one's technique with the meditation of emotions she learnt from a friend to combine it into this stance. Pulling a deep rage from her and translating it into insane focus.
Type/Rank: B-Rank Hyuuga Clan Taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Costs: 6CP
Effects: Reduces the CP cost of Taijutsu attacks for the user by 1d6CP for 1D6+1 rounds.
(9+3JP. Non-attacking. -9JP for Spec'd -6 Tai CP costs, -3JP +6 Spec'd duration to Jutsu duration.)
Raishujyuuken(All-Attacking Gentle Fist)
Kahenha takes the Jyuuken to a further extent by opening up where she can strike from. Bursting chakra from any striking surface and shaping it into the Jyuuken needles allows her to hit places more vulnerable to the tenketsu strike. This technique earned it's name from the bursting noise strikes make.
Type/Rank: B-Rank Hyuuga Clan Taijutsu (STR/DEX)
Costs: 6CP
Effects: All Taijutsu attacks increase Universa CP costs of the target by 1d3 for 1D3+1 rounds. Jutsu lasts 1d3+1 rounds.
(6JP, +3 Non-attack. -6JP for +3CP Universal, -1.5 JP for 3 duration on effect, -1.5JP for 3 duration on jutsu
