Rule Changes Thread

-Permadeath now Refunds 100% of RP Tokens, but never Refunds XP Markers.

-Naruto-verse OOC Rule 2, now has the amendment that Players are required to keep a training journal for each character. This is located above character biographies, and is in place with new learning system. No more rolling!

In addition, Rule 2 also has the new addition of:

“Falsifying learning, records and using unpaid for slot abilities or unapproved abilities is a punishable offense.”

-Learning System Amendment: In order to learn Jutsu on the server, players are required to have a Training Journal, and an Instructor whom is capable of teaching the technique selected and be capable of performing the technique.

CLARIFICATION: Rule #2 of OOC Rules. Approved abilites means that they are stored in the (Closed) section of the Mechanics.

Addendum to Slot System:

Please note, you receive two free elements, one at creation, and one at Level 30.

Clarification: Learning Jutsu System:

"Every Character has only 5 LP, regardless of level."

Addendum (Dice Fight Rules): Critical Hits always deal 2x Base Damage, and never include bonus damage.

Everything but Genjutsu, Kenjutsu and Taijutsu has been rebalanced and placed back into the Jutsu Section.

All Custom Jutsu, are purchased with RP Tokens, after you submit them and they are approved. Include your Elements Specialties when submitting. You cannot learn them until they have been approved, and all Custom Jutsu must be approved unless they are your two free E-Ranks upon creation (They must be Standard, Clan Standard or Free with Ability).

In light of the presence of Customs and their generally secretive nature, and the fact there is a not always a DM presence you now have the option of training in the RP forum and denoting that as your Sensei`s thread in your Training Journal. Please list the Sensei`s name as Custom. You must have either a witness or a forum post. You never automatically learn a Custom Jutsu.

After the lesson, you must post a Learning Post. This confirms that the lesson has occurred and you are spending your points on learning the basics of that technique at minimum, or if you decide to spend additional points towards completion of the technique. As stated in the previous section, you must always pay difficulty before you can place any points towards the progression cost of the Jutsu.

Character Endings: Permadeath wrote:

Permadeath occurs under the supervision of a DM, and must be supervised in order to be killed at any point in time. This ending can be achieved through a co-operative event with a DM, or via setting situations prematurely as denoted by roleplay. The DM must be present before the Situational RP begins.

This means that you must declare that you are actively fighting to the death. While death is always possible the situation does not always call for it. This as it stands is to be stated prior, and in the presence of a DM. We are happy to arrange an extravagant or simple death for your character. But you must inform DM prior to this death, and they must be present before the situation begins.

This means you cannot force someone to kill you in a situation, and they cannot forcibly kill you without warning ahead of time that you intend to fight them until they do and a DM .

Is the current learning table- remember these values are paid before getting any progress on your jutsu, so plan accordingly for the harder ones!

Please note, the Core Abilities have been reduced to ONE Core Ability, for all clans and bloodlines.
