| Name of Technique: White Kunai Type / Element (If Applicable): White-Lightning Ninjutsu Rank: A Sensei: Self-Created Minimal LP Needed: 12 Difficulty: 4 LP Used: 5 HP Used: 2 Bonus LP: 0 LP Needed to Be Complete: 9 Remaining Totals - June 14th, 2015 LP: 0 EP: 2 HP: 0 - White Kunai:
White Kunai Although requiring no hand-seals, the technique requires use of both arms. By honing an immense amount of chakra into the form of a kunai, the user throws it at the target, increasing the velocity and force through the use of sheer white-lightning, when contact is made a surge of explosive energy fires in and around the target forcing their bodies to undergo a recovery stasis leaving them vulnerable and severely injured. Type/Rank: A-Rank Ninjutsu? Costs: 13CP Effects: Base Damage+D10 White Lightning Damage; User gains +2 Critical Range on this attack. -D2 HP DR (Universal) for D2 Rounds if hit. Stepping forth into the clear field to train upon; the earth mounds surrounding the training field, adorned with massive stone braziers, the flickering light dancing around cascading shadows below to where Karu found himself; legs comfortably parted shoulder-width from one another. Slowly closing his eyes whilst attuning his senses to the surrounding area; the sound of fires licking, crickets chirping and eventually his heart-beat steadily working its way to his senses. "Although it's not recommended by my superiors; if I succeed they'll have little room but to be impressed." continuing with his eyes closed, perceiving the darkness that he folded in on himself; clearing his mind of that which sought to bring down his mood. Upon his acquired serenity he lifted both arms, bringing either hand together; in his mind, a faint but apparent visually imagined diagram of his own form, including the flow of chakra that stemmed from the core of his body, picturing the movement, flow and force that followed as he brought both hands towards each other. As they converged, so did the chakra network, creating a whole new flow, varying intensities colliding into a stronger, larger and more fierce flow. Nodding, a step he always found entertained to create in his mind, whether it truly occurred the way he imagined it, he may never know; but it was something that from the past, had proven a useful tactic to help his mind and body to get into working functionally. Slowly exhaling, a warm breath in as he began to channel a flow of chakra, exponentially large in his system, down to his right palm. Although this rather powerful technique required no seals, there was a great deal of focus required; complete silence, he figured would help calm himself for the first few attempts, figuring he may not get the technique immediately. He came to understandable terms with that realization. Upon fixating his mind even further on the development of the chakra to his palm, he was already beginning to feel the drain of utilizing such a copious amount of chakra, even merely for practice sakes. As he drew it all to his hand; he opened his eyes, staring in a controlled, but excited manner as he initiated his body to display such a great amount of chakra in one single point; however it lasted shortly until his legs began to shake and ready to buckle from underneath him. Retreating what he had done back into his normal system, although it still left him whoozy, it helped regain some of his energy; falling to his butt. A weakened grin spread across his face. "Well... It's a start."

Walking into the Trials By Fire; two scrolls tucked in-between his sash and himself. One labelled as a katon, the other a suiton; any passersby would know this to be an odd combination for Karu. Regardless, he made it to the center dropping both scrolls onto the ground. Unraveling them he would place one above the other. In reading order and to make it simpler to organize and track his intentions. After his preparations were complete; he would examine, calculate and mentally prepare for the two techniques. Although basic in concept, they were unusual in feeling for him. Feeling prepared, he stepped back a few dozen strides. Closing his eyes and steeling his mental focus; he would bring his right hand up beginning to sift through the attributed seals, for both techniques. Devising a way to allocate their chakras separately for any given time. As he felt they were sufficient in totals and balance. Drawing his right hand to his mouth he would pinch the air with his index and thumb fingers; breathing out an expellation of fire; as it traversed across the field. Karu would dash to the other end, battling the coming fire as he did. A quick final seal and drawing his index and middle finger underneath his lips he would spit out a large quantity of liquid to combat the fire. With a clash of chakras and the purpose of the techniques a sizzling heat washed over the field temporarily as he finished.

The next day; Karu again would be seen carrying an arsenal of two scrolls; the colors different based off the elemental attributes that exist. This time, it seems he carries doton and wind. The process was remarkably similar to the prior day. He placed both scrolls down before him, one atop the other as he begun to read over their exact contents, his adaptation to single-seals and he felt ready for the task at hand. He wasn't so much aiming for himself this time. As he went through the string of the seals for Earth spike; slamming his palm into the earth as an incalculable amount of spikes would rise in-front of him, remaining there for a few moments. With a quick follow-through of three seals, Karu brought his hand to his mouth as he swiftly launched out a breath of air forming into the shape of a dagger. Impaling the stones and blasting them back to their original form.

Chidori (One Thousand Birds) Upon the creation of the Chidori; although early in its years the technique was compared to a thousand-birds chirping. Due to Karuâs nature to get up-close and personal with his lightning techniques; this allowed him to do so and viciously. By coating his left or right hand in a coating of raw white-lightning, so sharp it was rumored to cut straight through the hardest of metals like butter. Type/Rank: A-Rank / Nin-taijutsu / White-Lightning Costs: 13 Effects: Base Damage + D2 White-Lightning Damage; Pierces D6 HP DR (Universal); Crit Range Increased by 6. Note: Rolled With Dex; Considered Taijutsu for DR Purposes "It was only a matter of time, I figured. I needed something I could rely on aside from my bo-staff or some hand-me down Kodashi; thus I begun the work on a technique coined as Chidori." I stood there, I found myself at the compound set just outside the village; 'just outside' being generous for several kilometers, it was our families original compound. I liked coming here ever since I lost my arm, it was relaxing and let me be me. Without the hounding and peering eyes of other civilians and shinobi, it becomes troublesome for people to know who you are- I would have slapped myself for saying that if I were younger, popularity was key then; it's a nuisance now. Regardless, I am here; I set myself in the fields; a small wall separating myself and my mind from the outside world. It was necessary. Through a great deal of studying, practicing the seals and as always, I had to adapt some seals to things that I could feasibly execute without cramping a hand muscle, or looking like a moron. Key things. So based off how a typical individuals' network runs the technique would require a great deal of seals or a series of highly concentrated seals. Dependant on time of course; the concentrated are Ox, Rabbit and Monkey which I discovered I'm rather fond of. However, the longer more sustained seals are Monkey, Dragon, Rat, Bird, Ox, Snake, Dog, Tiger and Monkey- Something that would require a great deal of adaptation and time on the battlefield. I opted to go with the former as a universal. Now, whether this technique ever gets passed down, I'll make sure I keep note of the other list; don't need people doing stupid things. As I stood there, I begun; I knew it would take time, but I felt now was better than never. Beginning to run through the string of seals particularly Ox, Rabbit and Monkey; for now, I am going to be practicing these with a constant flow of chakra; to help adapt my body to the flood of chakra- I mean literal flood. That way I can supply the technique adequately.

Note: Rolled With Dex; Considered Taijutsu for DR Purposes "Progress has been made, there is an obvious amount of room for improvement; but irregardless things are looking good." I haven't left the family compound yet; no messengers or otherwise for me, so I've been told there are no recent missions that require a Genin, or any number of Genin. So I took the moments reprieve to help reinforce my arsenal from the earlier days. As it had been recorded, the technique has been coined 'Chidori' if you hear it, you'll understand why. By channeling an immense amount of white-lightning into one's palm it permits the manifestation of a physical form of lightning; one which can be wielded and used. Quite remarkable, if a bit dangerous. The next step I think would be the most suitable was manifestation, harnessing and ultimately control. Place a storm of lightning in your palms, you better know how to use it. The day was calm, thankfully; the sun shone, the wind was a gentle breeze and there were no clouds within' miles. "Perfect." I begun the lengthened seals, cutting-corners too soon would result in problems; I'd imagine. I took my time and made sure the proper build up and flow of chakra allowed easy and smooth passage through my system and ultimately along my arm to the base of my palm. Upon feeling adequately attributed with chakra, I held my palm in-front of my form. Beginning the process of channeling the chakra to a centralized point on my palm; condensing it into a state of a singularity. A point that draws and manipulates energy. Upon doing so the spark ignited, beginning to flood my palm with a wash of unimaginable force. Like opening an entire dam of water all at once, it was remarkable- And terrifying at the same time. The sound of a forest of birds ignited at the palm of my hand, my ears run and my hand felt numb. I had to maintain it, trying to force so much chakra to a point and to stay there would be suicide. I merely needed to harness it. Hold it. And I did, I winced and cursed as I clenched my fingers down slightly and started to coat my hand in a similarly laid about chakra, aiming to grab ahold of the lightning singularity. Although it was brief, very brief it held. I was wielding this weapon of raw lightning as my own. Until my chakra drained to near completion- a friendly and dizzy reminder that this technique wasn't so easy to create, due to the raw chakra consumption. I will return to this shortly.

The next part, ideally the easiest part. Is landing it. Although I have no moving targets. I just need to manage to channel it long enough to pierce through a foe." Once more, I found myself standing amidst the family field; I've moved a dummy out here, typically we don't have them around, but they granted the exception. For a few minutes I stood and watched, fixating myself on the mental preparation to utilize the technique. I begun, bringing my hand up and slipping through the shortened seals. My chakra begun to flow to my palm, placing itself ever so violently around the singularity created. Lightning begun to viciously flow around my hand, arcing to the ground and singing the song of a thousand birds. Some of my family came out to watch, this is of course- the first time I didn't yelp in pain. Standing there, my back curled and my hand held in-front of my form to avoid contact with myself. For a moment I just let it run, trying to maintain it for a decent duration. Until I lunged forwards, the patter of my sandals against the dirt as I closed the distance. The lightning was something strange, my vision was difficult to trace, but my target was in sight. I leapt forwards, my feet planting against the ground letting myself skid the last few feet as I held my hand back, aimed towards the dummy like a javelin afore throwing my flattened palm forwards; striking through the heart of the dummy. What I wasn't expecting; was the innards and wood to explode. I got a scratch across my cheek from the wood; hopefully it doesn't scar.

Water Combo Much like the Fire Combo, this technique is more of a combination of the element with the userâs taijutsu. Mixing in water with their strikes; and often finalizing the combo with a technique of varied proportion. Type: Water / Taijutsu Rank: E Costs: 1CP Effects: Base Damage + Enemy suffers -1d4 to Fire Damage Rolls for 1 Round Note: This DOES NOT permit the user a free-action, itâs merely RP flavor Balance: -1D4 Element Rolls (+1 JP)

Fire Combo Although a rather basic use of taijutsu/kenjutsu maneuvers and weaponry; the technique permits the use of fire-techniques to be implemented alongside the melee-combat, although it doesnât permit anything drastic. It often contains the user ending their attack with a small technique Type: Fire / Taijutsu/Kenjutsu Rank: E Costs: 1CP Effects: Base Damage + Level Damage / 2 (Rounded Down) + 1 Damage for 1D2+1 Rounds. Note: This DOES NOT permit the user a free-action, itâs merely RP flavor Balance: Convert to DoT (N/A; D2+1 Rounds); +1 Damage = 1 JP Stepping out into the Trials By Fire; Karu would find himself alone. The night's embrace cascaded down around the dimly lit area. The calming crackle of embers and the smell of wood burning giving a focused hint into his mentality. Standing there, eyes set in-front of his position; imaginary target being painted in his mind. Bringing his hand up and lowering his stance. Flickering focus in his eyes as he made a single-seal; leaping forwards he would send a flurry of punches, followed by a low-sweep kick and launching himself mid-air flicking his hand with a quick series of seals as he forced the flat of his foot forwards sending a blast of fire towards the ground. Upon landing he'd continue; lunging forwards a low flip with a flurry of wide graceful kicks and arched elbows. Upon nearing the still burning ground he'd send out a swift punch, water beginning to funnel from the tips of his fist as it blasts out a form in the shape of his fist. Dousing what he had previously created.

Chakra Wind Executing a varied amount of seals based off the potency the user decides. It allows the person to release a large quantity of rather harmless wind; the purpose of this is to lightly coat the wind with the users chakra giving them an up-to-date feeling of the battlefield, capable of detecting any chakra irregularities and potentially hidden foes. Type: Wind / Ninjutsu Rank: E Costs: 1 CP Effects: User can detect physical stealth +2 via this technique Note: Balance: No Base Damage -1 JP; Physical Detection +2 JP He winced, the sound of his uncle hollering at him to get inside for the passed few days during rain was beginning to bother him. He knew his uncle had his best intentions but it felt as if a stunting growth was occurring each time he was forced in. Which lead him to the development to two uniquely identified techniques. Subtle but effective. The rain begun to fall. A short swift series of hand-seals would flow through his hand as he utilized the wind surrounding the farm; coating it in an invisible layer of chakra, floating towards the house he would be getting direct readings of obstructions, movements and otherwise; other chakra signatures. He smiled; swiftly met with a frown. His uncle was coming. A groan followed as he started to execute a new set of seals; often familiarized with Raiton. As he completed it; the lightning chakra would start to build around his form creating a thin layer of energy that started to displace it's molecules along with some of Karu's; slowly beginning to blend in with the surrounding environment. Although his uncle on a normal day would likely see him in a heart-beat; it was unexpected as he peeked his head outside the door to call him. Only met with a confused 'huh'.

Name: Hell Viewing Technique Rank/Type: D/Genjutsu Konoha Cost: 2 CP Roleplay: This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great. DF Effects: Single Target. Deals Base Rank Damage + 1 Notes:

Name: Misdirection Rank/Type: E/Genjutsu Cost: 1 CP Roleplay: Making your enemy think you are in a slightly different direction, it causes their attack to go off-course DF Effects: Allows defensive action with INT ((I'm mad. I posted it, forums f-ing timed out, its gonna be short and sweet -_-))
Laying out two uniquely identified scrolls for Misdirection and Hell-Viewing I begun examining the contents. A brief and easily understood concept for both. A casual toss of a chakra based orb to react based off chakra overloads. Weaving through the simplistic and slightly modified seals of Misdirection I sent the chakra towards the orb in a quick felled cascade; crashing into the orb with a violent toss- Although this technique really requires an attack and a sound mind. At least I've discovered I know the means to transport the mental chakra. Moving on, I begun the much more complex but equally acquired mentally technique of Hell-Viewing. After weaving the seals, and modifying much more of them. I sent out the chakra to flow unto the orb; inflicting its colors to slowly shift from the blue, to green, orange and eventually red; it began to violently shake until it exploded into pieces. It shouldn't sentient, but I did send the image of a dog chasing it. Perhaps it is?-- Doubt it. But now I owe Uncle. "Great.."

Earth Wall After three hand seals the user stomps the ground and a large block of stone moves to block an incoming technique. Type/Rank: C Rank Doton Ninjutsu (WIS) Cost: 4 CP Effect: Defensive Action, user gains + 1d3 Universal HP DR Stepping further into the training woods. Karu would have a single scroll tucked underneath his armpit. It had a green sheathing and the kanji of 'Earth' denoted on it's center-piece. Finding a suitably quiet but still viable in terms of space and available resources. He'd place the scroll down, unlatching the string-tie holding it closed. Upon revealing the contents he almost immediately set his mind to the task of understanding the chakra concepts of the technique, that so dutifully listed itself as "Doton: Doryƫheki" cut the romanji, it was effectively a solid wall of earth. The chakra molding seemed simplistic enough, the seals were of typical design- Of course, minus the fact Karu was already on the go to modifying and accommodating the distinct lack of a left arm; utilizing the coined 'modified' seals to make single-seals viable, and easier. He typically set aside a decent, if almost exaggerated amount of time in perfecting the hand-seals before even running chakra through them. Through his time using them, he discovered they were albeit more reliable than he'd have originally figured and chakra often acted as it should when he used the seals- All thanks to the reconstructed system. Upon feeling comfortable with what he had attributed, he begun; sifting through the weaving seals until the chakra was properly executed through a string of varied attempts of greater or lesser amounts of chakra based off his systems reserves. Repeatedly planting his palm into the earth as he ushered the molding to rise between him and the imaginary projectile coming towards him. This took some time, but through the efforts he provided and the rather drained efforts of using the technique many times over, even after he had assumed a claimed perfection. He felt drained, but he knew he had it. He just needed to practice.

Type/Rank: A-Rank Ninjutsu Costs: 13CP Effects: Base Damage+D10 White Lightning Damage; User gains +9 Critical Range on this attack. This technique pierces D2 HP DR Universal.
