Alrite...So Crit its ...Abit High.. ..


The basic slots are 2/4/6/10 [Crit universal ] , and if you specialize What does it become ? I think I saw 14? Which means you chance to crit is actually Higher then your chance to not crit .. Ontop of the abilty to give a target up to -7 towards crits which means you can quickly sercure red crits . lol ...But no really ...If this is how crit works what are the Crit ranges for Disciplines / Type ?

reason why crit chance can be so high is that at level 10-20 it adds 1d4 dmg, and increases to 1d8 at level 30+. assuming maximum, a 11-20 crit range effectivly gives+1d4(1d8/2(50% chance of happening)), which is less than straight adding bonus dmg. at low levels, it's even worse cause of the bonus dmg added is 1d4(average of 1d2) from the crit. so yea, if you manage to stack your crit chances up to get 100% crit chance on a jutsu(someone has), your just barely getting ahead, and that's assuming that the person with straight dmg doesn't use there jp on the jutsu to add more dmg.

The ranges for Crit Discipline and Type were'nt there unless I over looked it ...

And whats the Upgrade III for those ?  And can Healing Crit? Can dots/hots crit as well?

Both would be 20 crit range. Healing cannot crit. Dots can Crit. Hots cannot crit.

Making crits passive in that way doesn't seem to jive with how they are meant to represent a perfectly staged ambush or the stars themselves aligning for someones attack to be the next thing to a deathblow.

Crits are in some way connected with how well the attack was performed (Natural 20) and so it seems like a Crit should be flat impossible on a natural roll below 11.

Obviously mechanics is just a numbers game but the numbers are supposed to be telling a story.
