BIRTHRIGHT
The scroll of Zaigou Doragon speaks the truth of their right. Kingorô.. just a clan name.. just a cover for what they are. The Kingorô clan was started by Minaya Kingorô who just walked into the city of Sunagakure. They didn't know who she was and she claimed to be a simple traveler looking for a home like so many others. What was so different about her? She was different because she carried the blood of what was formerly known as the Zaigou Doragon (Sin Dragon) tribe. They were a small group that kept to themselves are were thought to all be dead a long time ago. Little known was that they slowly began to gain a hold in each of the 5 major villages and form into a clan. In Sunagakure "Kingorô", in Konohagakure "Omahai", in Kirigakure "Desä", in Kumogakure "Brito", and in Iwagakure "Tzerant". Over the years they lost track of each other as a result of the wars plauging the world that turned them against each other, several of them forgot what they were all together. In Sunagakure, Minaya kept a scroll that explains the history and reality of their people in detail, so that she would never forget and could pass it on. It was thought as a precious artifact that was forbidden to lay eyes upon in anything other than he most dire of situations. It could only be opened by a Zaigou Doragon and only when the one who placed the seal on it, namely Minaya, was dead.
When Kizen was 8 he watched his entire clan fall before his very eyes. There were other Zaigou Doragon remaining across the natios yes, but all the Kingorô except him were destroyed that day. The scroll of the Zaigou Doragon and Kizen wouldn't lay eyes on it until he found his way to the prison cells of Kirigakure.
PATH TO THE SCROLL
Everyone has a purpose they are destined for but few ever complete that specific purpose as a result of actions taken by the individual, ignorant of their destined path and Kizen was no exception. However, what made Kizen different from the rest was that he was a Zaigou Doragon. For some reason the Zaigou Doragon had a way of finding their way to their destined purpose one way or another even if through paths unexpected or by pure chance, given they live long enough. Kizen would never have been able to predict what would happend and be it by chance or fate, his will to avenge his family would keep him alive long enough to stumble over the truth of his heritage.
As a Genin Kizen would tirelessly pursue the ability and connections to destroy the seven swordsmen for whom he held so much hate for these many years. This would lead him to form a young rivalry with Seohyun Inka "The Diamond of Sunagakure" and Uchiha Sao the dangerous missing ninja from Konohagkure, both of which would play an important role in Kizen's path to discovery. As a result of Uchiha Sao he ultimately ended up betraying Sunagakure with more interest in his revenge than he had in maintaining his reputation and credability. Afterwards he would join Kirigakure, convincing them that he was a changed man and would fight for them against Sunagakure, to whom he was actually still loyal.
After a long time of persuasion and slow raising of status in Kirigakure he ceased becoming a monitored "potential problem". It wasn't long afterwards that the war would start and he would be given the oppertunity he had waiting for all this time. Naturally, he ceased the moment to redeem himself in the eyes of Sunagakure and simultaneously fulfill his vendetta against the seven swordsmen by destroying the compound and killing the swordsmen within. As fate would have it he would fail at his attempt and be thrown into prison for monthes following. This was all for a purpose however as within the prison he would stumble upon an item of intrigue.
DISCOVERING ONE'S SELF
The scroll when it found its way into his cell, by influence of movement and wind, was immediately recognized by the tired eyes of Kizen. He had seen the scroll countless times throughout his life and the designs set it vastly apart from any other piece of literature in existance. The only thing missing was the seal that previously held the scroll sealed from anyone who tried to open it. His curiousity got the best of him when he considered the fact that he had absolutly nothing left to lose and he opened the scroll and began to read it.
It took him weeks to read it all and monthes to fully understand it and during that time he would hide the scroll away as for it to not fall back into the hands of the Kirigakure shinobi. A short way in hope was restored and he guarded its secret with his life. When the scroll was finish and analysis was completed he had by that time been able to directly communicate with his inner dragon, the completion of himself. Even the scroll does not explain how the inner dragon effect is made or why it is done, only how to eventually become whole with the inner dragon and complete one's self. Kizen began his concious journey to discover his purpose.
ONWARD TO DESTINY
With renewed vigour, Kizen spent the next several weeks saving up unperishable food for the journey ahead, and when he had enough he ate an unusually large portion of food that would give him just enough strength to make good his escape. Once out of the Kirigakure gates they ceased persuit, with his two targets gone Kizen had no motive to be hostile towards Kirigakure further. They considered him once again, harmless.
The scroll taught him to trust his inner dragon as in reality those voices were simply the rest of one's whole self giving instruction of hidden knowledge so that eventually they might join into a whole once more. Kizen needed to take care of loose ends first.. he went back to Sunagakure and turned himself in so that he might have an audiance with his once rival now Kazekage Seohyun Inka. If it had not been her who was Kazekage at the time he may very well have been imprisioned in Sunagakure for the rest of his days. She tried to convince him to return to the village but for the sake of memories, and at Kizen's request, Seohyun released him one without charge this one time, promising not to actively persue him so long as he meant no harm towards Sunagakure.
Now that Kizen could safely make his journey without worry of pursuit from either Kirigakure or Sunagakure he could get a fresh start as he readjusted to the world. He sat for hours listening to his inner dragon explain the next step on his journey. Ultimately it was summed up that once again he would have to stumble upon his purpose, whatever it may be. Kizen was not distraught.. fate had been true to its word thus far and it was simply a matter of time until he would find his way. For now, however, he needed to both regain his former strength and become stronger than he was before so that he would be able to stand up against the challenges ahead.
