Though he does his best to fit in, and give respect to those hes required too, it seems there is just something boiling inside of him, waiting to come free.

~Biography~

~Night of the Seal~

It was quite a peaceful day, Toshiro was playing with some of the other younger Hyuuga clansman in the compound. He was just about to go to the acadamy, in a few weeks time. As he reaches the bottom of the slide, his Father awaited him, giving a half smile as he lowers his hand out to Toshiro. "Come, my son. There is something we must do." Toshiro looked to his father with a carefree curious gaze, but just gave a cheerful nod, hopping to his feet from the bottom of the slide, and he followed his father.

They arrive near the elders of the clan, who glance down at young Toshiro with expecting eyes, before looking back to the father. "We'll be taking him now." The elder in the middle says in a casual manner, as if there was no arguments to be made. "Hai..." The father says, looking down to Toshiro. He bends down and gives his son a hug, before motioning to the elders. "Go ahead son, they require you for a few moments. It'll be okay." Toshiro nods, and looks to the elders. A bit shyly, he approaches and follows the elders along, as they take him to the room where the Seal is done. As they enter the building, there are various Hyuuga in the room, sitting in a manner that makes them form a circle. The elder tells Toshiro to wait a moment, and the elder heads to a table with various herbs and liquids. He prepares a tonic, which helps ease the mind and relax the drinker, though probably designed to just keep the one who drinks it from moving. He hands this tonic to Toshiro, and he is told to drink it. He does so, and his eye lids start to get heavy, his body and mind become relaxed. They move Toshiro to the center of the room, and the Hyuuga all form hand signs. A large seal in the center of the room appears, streaming from each Hyuuga a line of jagged green chakra. Each line reaches Toshiro as it then forms a smaller circle around his form, streaming up through his arms, it starts to circle around his head, focusing now more greatly on his forehead. Each of the Hyuuga in the room performing the Juinjutsu, look to one another. Then with an almost harmonic "Fuu-in" the chakra in the room becomes more heavy, as the Seal on the forehead of Toshiro starts to become etched. Slowly the symbol of pure green chakra is formed, Toshiro starts to gain a look of pain in his eyes as the seal forms, and as it finishes he passes out, a few droplets of tears leave his eyes. The elders nod to the Hyuuga who did the work, and they pick up the young Hyuuga, bring him back to his father, and then go about their business once more.

The Byakugan (白眼; Viz "Evil Eye" or "All Seeing White Eye"; Literally meaning "White Eye") is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai, a genetic trait, that is shared amongst the members of the Hyūga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes. Although it is not stated directly, it is assumed that all members of the Hyūga family possess the Byakugan. It has been said that the Sharingan is a genetic offshoot of the Byakugan.

The Byakugan is the primary focus of the Hyūga's special arts. When the Byakugan is activated, their pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge.

The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra.

The second ability is having the ability to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person. In Part I, Neji Hyūga was able to see an area of 50 meters, but later he increases his visual range to at least 800 meters, while Hinata Hyūga's range in Part II stretches at least as far as 10 km. During the hunt for either of the Uchiha brothers, Hinata was shown to be able to view Amaterasu's flames, and the chakra in the area, from ten kilometers away. However, the Byakugan cannot see through certain barriers(Barrier jutsus).

However, the third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, as well as the chakra circulation system inside another's body. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. Unlike the Strong Fist, which is focused on external injuries, the Gentle Fist style focuses on internal injuries. Each strike, when placed correctly, strikes along the Chakra Pathway System, which is the network of vessels that carry chakra. This network is closely intertwined with the functioning of the body's organs, and so, when the keirakukei take damage, the organs suffer as well. There is no defense against the Gentle Fist, since one cannot train one's internal organs to become stronger. The only possible defense is to stop the Gentle Fist's hits from connecting.

Particularly skilled users of the Byakugan, which appear only rarely, such as Neji Hyūga, can take the Gentle Fist style one step further. Along the keirakurei are 361 pinprick-sized nodes called Tenketsu, or chakra points. When struck, the Byakugan user can choose to either seal, or forcibly open these Tenketsu, thus giving the user complete control over their opponent's chakra system. So, with precision, all those points along the victim's body can be sealed, stopping the chakra flow to those areas. Able to strike without force, and yet do more damage to a ninja than some of the most powerful ninjutsu, the Gentle Fist is the greatest taijutsu style known in all of Konohagakure.

Gloves, stitched by a special fabric, and cleansed in a sacred pool of water that is said to attract chakra to it, like a moth to a flame. These gloves are given to a Sub Branch member, that seems to have gained the bloodline of the Hyuuga, with above average ability. As the sub branch, they are meant to protect and be guardians of the clan, always moving to protect the main branch members, even at the cost of the their life. Although Toshiro does not agree with how the Hyuuga are run, dividing the family up based on blood and standing of birth rites, he is still honorable, and will do what he can do protect his family, and more so the main branch. It is for this reason, the elders have decided that Toshiro will be the next recipient of these special gloves.

The gloves allow the wearer, to have a better control and understanding of chakra. The reason its so useful for the Jyuuken, is so that the wearer, while striking and expelling chakra, they do not waste needlessly, and only use what the jutsu actually requires, instead of overwhelming the their own chakra, and wasting a good amount. It is for this reason, that the Hyuuga who wears these gloves, are far more effective in both chakra conservation, and damage inflicted upon their foes. It is said that the gloves themselves have their own chakra wavelength, which is why the Hyuuga does not seem to use as much chakra in battle with them.
