-}{- WAY OF THE SHINOBI -}{-
Village: Konohagakure no Sato 木ノ葉隠れの里 (Literally meaning, "Village hidden among the tree leaves") Rank: Chūnin 中忍 Shinobi Identification Number: 104826 Squad: N/A Sensei: N/A Classification: Jinchuuriki Affinity: Water/Lightning/Swift Clan/Bloodline: Jinchuuriki Proficiency: Taijutsu/Ninjutsu/-- Preferred Technique: Rising Wind Preferred Weapon: Tensei no Atae
Spoiler:
Name: Tensei no Atae (Gift of Heaven)
Base Item: Katana Physical Description: A katana that is four feet in length with a hand guard shaped like a sunburst. The blade itself seems to be covered in gold leaf, and is largely ornamental in decor. Historical Relevance: One of many weapons that were left in the possessions of Lila Sousakuryoku when she passed. Being her only known family Chikara inherited and practiced with the weapons of their Magnet craft, hoping to become the great shinobi she would've wanted to see him become. This particular katana is one of the more curious finds of Lila. Possessing the inability to cause harm to the flesh, this blade instead forces the body to direct its chakra towards the heightened regeneration of wounds. The material used to create this effect is unknown, but nonetheless, the blade bears high worth as a life-saving tool for someone inept in medical jutsu. Weapon Properties (DF): If the weapon is physically held, it drains 3cp per round from the holder. Instead of dealing HP Damage, this weapon heals HP damage instead with every swing (Rank Medium Weapon damage). As the weapon heals, it deals Damage to the target's CP equal to the amount of HP healing +1d10.
Nindo: "Continue my Poppa's Legacy.. and become a great Jinchuuriki and Protector of the Hidden Leaf Village!"

Abilities
Spoiler:
The jinchūriki (人柱力; Literally meaning "Power of Human Sacrifice") are humans that have tailed beasts sealed within them. They exhibit extraordinary powers, and in some cases are more powerful than their tailed beasts, because they have the intelligence to use the beasts' powers effectively. The jinchūriki are typically lonely people, viewed by those around them as the tailed beasts that had been sealed within them, leading to prejudice and being hated and feared. According to Akatsuki in the series, the first two jinchūriki they captured loathed humanity, and their villages were in fact glad to be rid of them. However, some jinchūriki refuse to waver, even though they have been shunned, and they eventually earned respect. In order to prevent the jinchūriki from turning traitor, it is tradition for the host to be selected from the family of the village's own Kage. In this way, the jinchūriki not only has strong ties of loyalty to village and their leader, but they also serve to show off the Kage's might. If the tailed beast is removed from its jinchūriki's body, the jinchūriki will die. Similarly, if the jinchūriki dies with the tailed beast still sealed within them, the beast will die too. Because of this, the tailed beasts tend to be very protective of their jinchūriki, and will take any action whenever their lives are in danger. However, this was not always the case. Before the Nine-Tails was sealed into Naruto, it was said that it could actually survive its jinchūriki's death, with the only consequence being that it would take time for it to be revived. Also, rare exceptions of a jinchūriki surviving an extraction may occur, if the said host has high enough stamina.
The seal that keeps a tailed beast within its female jinchūriki is at its weakest when she is in childbirth, due to the nurturing of the child in the womb using the power of the seal, weakening the seal in direct proportion. As such, a ninja is required to keep the seal intact during childbirth, and restore the seal back to full power afterwards. A full-term pregnancy for a female jinchūriki is about ten months, presumably because the body has to nurture both the child and the seal simultaneously. As a result, the child develops more slowly.
-The Power of Human Sacrifice
lvl 15: +2DEX/WIS; Gains the Supplimentary "Resolve"
lvl 25: +3DEX/WIS; Gains the Supplimentary "Cornered"
lvl 35: +4DEX/WIS; Gains the Supplimentary "Jinton Master"
Resolve Jutsu Type: Supplimentary Rank: N/A CP Cost: 5+3 per round Description: Being the sort of person that will never back down no matter what, Hirumaru has developed a nack for being able to get back up no matter what. PvP Effect: Whenever Hirumaru is struck while this jutsu is active, he makes a CON check (DC variant on the rank of the jutsu he's hit by, unranked counts as C rank for this effect). On a successful check, Hiru is able to divide the dmg by 3 and take it as DoT dmg instead of one lump sum. D-rank: DC 15 C-rank: DC 20 B-rank: DC 25 A-rank: DC 28 S-rank: DC 32
Cornered Jutsu Type: Supplimentary Rank: N/A CP Cost: N/A Description: Bijuu are known to protect their Jinchuuriki by giving them power in a pinch, both prolonging their own life and the life of the one containing them. In the particular instance of the Three-tails' Host fighting off multiple opponents, the Sanbi gives it's chakra to enhance the host's survival chance. PvP Effect: The user gains an additional +1 to rolls (exceeds the +5 innate cap, max of 2) for every opponent they are outnumbered by. Puppets, clones, paths / other temporaries are not included in this count.
Jinton Master Jutsu Type: Supplimentary Rank: N/A CP Cost: N/A Description: Having come a long way as a Jinchuuriki of the Three-tailed beast, the Jinchuuriki is able to perform the Jinton techniques without much strain to their body. PvP Effect: -3 CP costs to Jinton techniques (any HP damage dealt in backlash from Jinton jutsu is now negated as well)
- Enlarged Chakra Pool
The Jinchuuriki calculates their CP by the following formula: Lvl + 2(Wis Mod + Con Mod) +Wis Bonus
-Cloak of the Tailed Beast
The Chakra Cloak(Tailed Cloaks) is not accessible on creation, and must be unlocked during an event sanctioned by a DM (main DM or higher), afterwards, the Initial Bond is formed, allowing the Jinchuuriki to access 1/3 of their total tails, rounded up. The Chakra Cloak is a physical manifestation of chakra that surrounds the Jinchuuriki fueled by the Bijuu inside them. Each tail that manifests increases the Jinchuuriki’s power exponentially. It takes 3 rounds to be able to advance between tails and roll bonus caps out at +10
Each Active Tail Adds: +1 to atk/def, +1d4 dmg, +1 Additional DR that takes 2pts of DR piercing dmg to penetrate per point of DR (IE: an attack pierces 5DR and the Jinchuuriki is in 2-tailed cloak having 2 cloak DR, that Cloak DR takes up 4 of that DR pierce)
At 2/3 of the Jinchuuriki’s total tails (rounded up), they begin to take 1d4+1 dmg per round (Bypasses all their DR) and after the cloak ends, they suffer a -3 penalty to all rolls until healed by a Medical nin with a heal mod of 100 or better + 10 tokens
-Chakra Cloak Jutsu
[Jinchuuriki Rage: Chakra Burst] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B CP Cost: 8cp Description: Fueled by rage, the Jinchuuriki lets out a roar enhanced by chakra, anything before them is pushed away with the intense force of a Bijuu’s power. PvP: Allows the user to defend against an attack with their high stat. Success deals 1d6 dmg in backlash Note: Hand seals are not required for this jutsu, but it cannot be performed while mentally stunned. 2 round cooldown
[Jinchuuriki Rage: Relentless Charge] Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Rank: B Cp Cost: 7cp Description: While under the influence of the Bijuu, the Jinchuuriki is focused on only bringing down their opponent, stopping at nothing while trying to destroy their target. Causing this target pain only fuels the Jinchuuriki with more energy to inflict suffering on them. PvP Effect: for 1d4+1 rounds, the user gains 2cp and hp for each successful attack on a designated target (target must be announced at the start of the duration, and cannot be changed until it ends or the user cancels it)
[Tailed Beast Bomb] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S+ Cp Cost: 30 Description: Once the user has transformed into the Bijuu itself, they are able to create a condensed ball of powerful chakra before blasting forth a beam of pure energy strong enough to alter landscapes and destroy most in its path. PvP Effect: Takes one round to charge and can only be used in Full Transformation. 3d20+5 dmg to a melee range AoE (one target and anyone nearby)
-Dominion
A Dominion this is a set of jutsu that can be used with or without an active Chakra cloak, and typically is something that the Bijuu is capable of, and has shared with the Jinchuuriki. Note: Not all Bijuu have a dominion (having a dominion is optional, and gaining extra jutsu for the Chakra cloak is possible by forsaking a dominion). Each Jinchuuriki gains 1 free Dominion Jutsu per rank. An Example of a Dominion is Lava Release (Dominion of the Four-Tailed Monkey in canon), Swift Release (Dominion of the Three-Tailed Wolf in NV), or Sand Manipulation (Dominion of the One-Tailed Tanuki in canon)
JINTON: Swift Release
The Three-tailed wolf utilizes water and lightning chakra to create a chakra current that exponentially boosts it's speed, making it one, if not -the- fastest of the nine bijuu. The jinchuuriki host of the Sanbi is capable of using this unique chakra nature, and with training, has the potential of accelerating past limits humanly possible.
|-|Jinton Jutsu|-|
Jinton -Swiftness Preparation Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Rank: E CP Cost: 4cp Description: The user handseals and holds the sign before waiting for the opponent to come at them, preparing for an opening to quickly counter-attack. PvP: counts as a stack useable only for countering (able to use in multiple participant fights)
Jinton -Double Leg Sweep Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Rank: D CP Cost: 3cp Description: The user goes after an attacking target, attempting to take their legs out from under them, leaving them unprepared for a counter-attack. PvP: used as a defense, if successful the target takes -2 to their next defensive roll
Jinton -Rising Wind Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Rank: C CP Cost: 4cp Description: The user moves as close to their target as possible before leaping up, aiming a knee for the chin. Then they send a kick at the recoiling opponent to send them flying. PvP: Rank Taijutsu dmg + 2d4
Jinton -Grand Hurricane Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Rank: B CP Cost: 7cp Description: The user launches into a spin of kicks and punches at a target, each attack is powerful enough to create a gust of wind; giving the jutsu its name. PvP: 3 attack rolls, each dealing 1 rank below in Taijutsu dmg (any damage bonuses are only applied once)
[Jinton: Cornered Beast] Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Stance Rank: A CP Cost: 8+ 3 per round Description: the user follows a series of Taijutsu moves that are strung together for the purpose of fighting off multiple opponents. PvP: +2 to defense and counter rolls, +1d6 dr. For 1d4+2 rounds, the user is unable to use their turn. Instead they are permitted to either counter or defend each time they’re attacked.
[Jinton: Godspeed] Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Jutsu Rank: S Cp Cost: 20 + 2 per round Description: The ultimate Taijutsu assault on a single target, the user of this jutsu pushes past the sound barrier, making them nigh impossible to strike while they move around the field of battle. The only thing heard in the area would be a loud and constant sonic boom giving off a mournful bale, similar to a wolf’s howl. PvP Effect: +5 to dodge rolls and +3 to taijutsu damage for 1d4+1 rounds. User is able to escape from battle via a dex roll + 5 (This jutsu is also used as a travel jutsu outside of combat).
-Bijuu Contract
Some Jinchuuriki are able to forge a relationship or agreement with the Bijuu that are housed within them. By making this pact, the Jinchuuriki is able to rely on more of the Tailed Beast’s power without losing themselves. The Bijuu Contract can only be earned through intense roleplay and an event sanctioned by an Admin DM
Initial Contract: able to access an additional 1/3 of the Bijuu’s maximum tails, -1 to the round limit between tails
Complete Pact: able to access all of the Bijuu’s tails, -1 to the round limit between tails
Perfect Bond: able to make a full transformation
Using tails before they’re unlocked is possible, but the Jinchuuriki loses control, and any DM online can act as the Bijuu, directing the Jinchuuriki’s actions. ANY CHOICE A DM MAKES WHILE CONTROLLING THE BIJUU IS FINAL.
-Full Transformation
A complete transformation into the Bijuu can occur if the Jinchuuriki releases all the possible tails of their tailed beast. This is a dangerous occurrence because the power of the Bijuu endangers the Jinchuuriki and everyone around them. Cp Cost: 30cp PvP Effect: Lasts for 3d4 rounds. The User becomes a Beast equivalent of a Rank 5 summon. While in this form, they are able to use all jutsu of their Dominion, as well as have access to their innates. After the duration ends, the user reverts and takes half the damage they took during the Transformation.
Spoiler:
Haniyasu Clan - Natural Balance
The Haniyasu clan of Kusagakure is a small and little known clan outside of the village itself, but it's said that much of the village's vegetative prosperity is caused by the members within the clan. Very peaceful to the point of pacifism, many of this tribe of people dedicate themselves to medicine; intending to heal the damage done to the earth instead of cause further plague and pestilence. However, as with every light there is a shadow, there are members of the clan that delve into using their unique understanding of the physical earth to do just the opposite of their pacifistic clansmen. Clan culture among the Haniyasu remains strongly feudal but lacks a direct Hierarchical structure. Instead, the people act as if they were all a close-knit family, with the matriarch and her descendants ruling over the clan affairs. Matriarchal rule comes from the belief that Nature intended the females of every species to be the nurturers, and their innate instinct to "mother" emulates the goddess of the earth herself.
Innate: Nature's Nurture Through the years the clan has grown closer to the earth; flora and fauna becoming likened to siblings to the Haniyasu. As their ties were tightened the clansmen began to feel a closer touch from the world around them, manifesting in greater vitality and understanding of their bodies.
PvP Effect: For 3cp, the Haniyasu can add +2 to their defense/resist check verses Poison, Physical Stun, Crippling Attacks, Sleep, or Genjutsu
Innate: Symbiosis Each member of the clan forms a bond with another living thing- whether that be plant, animal, or person, or an abstraction such as the living earth- without realizing. This bond can occur at any time, but once it has, it becomes binding. The Haniyasu gains strength from this bond, and their compelling desire to nurture/protect it.
LvL 15+: +1d6 dmg -or- +1d4 to Heal LvL 25+: +1d8 dmg -or- +1d6 to Heal LvL 35+: +1d10dmg -or- +1d6+2 to Heal (Note: The character may only go damage route -or- Heal route. A PC cannot benefit from the lvl 25 +1d8 to dmg and the lvl 35 +1d6+2 to Heal)
Clan Jutsu The Haniyasu clan doesn't specialize in any particular style of jutsu in the layman's terms of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, or Taijutsu. Rather, Their talent stems from a line of ideals that consummate their abilities as Nature's providers/protectors (Because of this, it's encouraged that players create their own style relating to this ideal). Though all Clansmen learn to perform these few techniques:
Nature's Chakra Well Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: N/A Cp: none Description: Similarly to how a Sage builds and utilizes the latent chakra in the world around them, the Haniyasu are able to call upon this font of energy as well. Through intense focus, they are able to build up Nature Chakra to use in various situations. PvP Effect: By giving up turns, the user is able to "regen" Nature Chakra into a separate pool. Each -turn- spent in undisturbed meditation gives the user 2 Nature Chakra Points to use. Being disturbed cuts off the flow, but doesn't cause the user to lose any stored Nature Chakra. Genin: Max 10 points in pool Chuunin: Max 15 points in pool Jounin: Max 20 points in pool
Mother Earth Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Cp: 5+2 per round Description: The user handseals before creating a unique clone that, instead of bearing their features, remains like the elements that created it. This bunshin's sole purpose is to be a defender for the Haniyasu, acting as a small line of defense for them. PvP Effect: Creates a clone that is able to freely make a defense check for the user and lasts 3d4 rounds. This check applies to only blocking and the clone cannot defend the user versus AoE techniques. Failing a defense check means that the clone was destroyed and the attack can continue on to the user as directed. (Because this clone doesn't appear to look like the creator, the 1d6 rule for clones doesn't apply)
Earthshard Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Cp: 8 Description: Useable only with Nature chakra, this technique allows the user to pull the elements around them into a collective body, before using the created weapon/body-part in combat. PvP Effect: For 1d4+1 turns. The created object deals Rank Taijutsu + 1d4 dmg Water: Increases the user's Taijutsu range to reach up to 3 targets Air: Gains an additional +2 vs Dex Earth: Grants the user immunity vs backlash damage dealt from defensive dmg Vegetation: Causes opponents to have to roll Con (DC=20) or be stunned for 1 round after being struck
Ragnarok Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S Cp: 20 Nature Chakra Description: Upon creating a mass of stored Nature chakra, the Haniyasu is able to release it all at once, creating a heavy disturbance in the balance of nature and causing any number of natural disasters to afflict the field of battle. PvP Effect: For 3 rounds, a Calamity is created, attacking all within the area (user included) each round. In turn order, this attack occurs after the user's turn and deals 2d10 dmg per hit (bypassing all DR)

~*/WHERE LEGENDS BEGIN\*~
Chapters: 1. A… Baby? 2. End War 3. Journey to Konoha 4. The Seal Master 5. Dancing with Devils 6. New Discoveries (unfinished)
1.
Spoiler:
It had been two years since Uchiha Kuromitsu left Konoha and Hiora Yorumaru began to realize that his best friend, worst enemy, and greatest love would never return to the Hidden Village they grew up in. Maybe it was just in his mind, but it seemed to Yoru that everything and everyone that he knew had vanished from the world. Isolating himself in body and mind, he decided it was necessary for him to disappear as well. With his mind made up, he did just that; the Jinchuuriki of the Three-Tailed Wolf disappeared from the village he held so dear to him. Yorumaru knew that he would need to take extreme caution in his travels, hiding his true nature from the people he passed by. The Akatsuki was still at large – though they were dealing with their own issues within the organization- and being a Jinchuuriki travelling alone was not only a danger to Yoru’s well-being, but a danger to the entire world. After a short time of moving from inn to inn, he decided that going to an allied village where he didn’t know anyone would be the safest way to gather his thoughts. Mere minutes after he made this decision, he was outside the gates of Kusagakure, the Hidden Grass Village. Being escorted immediately to the village head, Yoru and the man arranged the accommodations for his stay, but the leader wasn’t happy about having such a monster within the village walls. It was pretty well known the destruction that the Akatsuki has wrought in their hunt for these creatures, and having one in his tiny village put him on edge. It took lots of reassuring before Yoru was able to walk freely in the streets, but the villagers gave him a wide berth, not wanting to be anywhere near the demon man. There was one girl that didn’t seem to mind Yoru’s company, and he welcomed the curious attention that she gave to him. This girl’s name was Mikiyo, and her wide, admiring eyes became something that Yoru fell in love with in the months to come. A little over a year passed since Yorumaru met Mikiyo, and on a sunny day in the fall season, the pair pledged their vows of love and faithfulness to each other before the Village elders. No one else attended the wedding, including the girl’s parents. As she grew closer to the Jinchuuriki the villagers began to give her the same shunning treatment that they gave to Yoru, but she didn’t mind. Her entire world was changing, and apprehension and excitement filled her heart. Yoru wasn’t aware yet, but Mikiyo was with child. She was concerned about what the villagers would think, and more importantly do, when word was made public that she was bearing the child of a Jinchuuriki. She didn’t want her child to grow up in a place where everyone but a select few hated him, and she spent numerous hours asking Yorumaru about his childhood and his village. Yoru told her of all the people he grew to know, and his stories were filled with the love of his friends. Mikiyo decided then that when the baby was born, she would ask Yorumaru if they could return to the Hidden Leaf Village.
“Yorumaru-sama, we’re going to have a baby.”
(Hiora Yorumaru and Hiora Mikiyo)

Spoiler:
Nearly two years later, the child of the Jinchuuriki and his bride was celebrating his first birthday. Though the villagers of Kusagakure had time to acclimate to the idea of this unusual family within their village, very few people spoke to the couple, and this small celebration of life consisted only of the village leader, Yorumaru, and Mikiyo. The mother’s eyes were clouded in conflicted tears. She swelled with pride and love for her child, but at the same time mourned for the future she saw for her firstborn. It was hard to picture him having a life filled with happiness and compassion when people saw his existence as an abomination. The young couple had decided to delay their move to Konohagakure until either the war ended, or Hirumaru was old enough to walk and talk. It was difficult to live in the Grass village, and they rarely had enough to feed the three of them, but this day was all about Hiru; nothing would change that… or so they thought. In the middle of the festivities, time seemed to freeze. Yorumaru glanced around confusedly as Mikiyo, the village elders, his son, and even the trees and grasses that were swaying in the wind seemed to abruptly pause. The last time Yoru had seen something like this happen was back in his days as a Genin under the tutelage of his sensei, and as he thought this, his sensei Uchiha Ichiban was staring back at him with fully formed Mangekyo Sharingan eyes. Yoru jumped slightly, causing Ichiban to #### a half-formed smirk before the silver-haired boy was immediately tackling his former sensei onto the ground. The pair exchanged brief and warm greetings before Ichiban told Yoru to get off of him, and that he had a serious reason for coming to see him.
“Yoru-kun, the war will be ending, and I will be leaving this earth. The Akatsuki has been stopped and I no longer have a reason for pretending I belong here. Enjoy your life Yoru-kun. Protect those dear to you in my name, and become the Hero I know you are destined to be. Like I told you when I took you into my squad, I only train the best … You’re one of the best. Ja ne~”
Ichiban gave a slight wave before the world began to move around them once again. As time began to move, the Uchiha vanished from the earth for the last time. The small party didn’t skip a beat, and continued on as if nothing had happened. Yoru kept his conversation with his sensei a secret from Mikiyo until two weeks later when word reached Kusagakure with news that Uchiha Saoren had become Raikage and made peace with Al’akir Aky’kyo of Wind country. The warring villages had begun to make amends and begin the peace process, and the fighting had all but ceased. Telling Mikiyo what Ichiban had told him, the two decided it was safe enough to move their family to Konoha at last. Well into Fire Country the travelling family was caught in a wicked storm that came upon them in an instant. The sky went dark as thick clouds rolled in; a mixture of rain and hail fell as the wind howled ominously. Yoru took Hirumaru from Mikiyo so she could weave a series of hand signs, calling up a mound of earth around them to make a makeshift shelter for the three until the storm stopped. In a flash of lightning, Yoru saw another familiar figure standing in the middle of the storm. A silhouette of a giant man stood unphased in the rain and hail, his beard was whipped about by the wind. A second figure stepped from the larger silhouette, this one belonging to a woman. A second lightning bolt pealed across the sky, lighting the area for an instant before the storm vanished as suddenly as it came.
“Rai? Raizo? What are you two doing here?”

Spoiler:
As Arashiigawa Raizo began to talk to Yorumaru, Arashiigawa Rai went to Mikiyo and offered to introduce herself. Not knowing who this girl was, Mikiyo began to worry that these two strangers were part of the Akatsuki that wanted the Three-Tails from Yorumaru. She had heard that the Akatsuki traveled in pairs and she clutched her baby tightly and backed away somewhat as Rai approached. Raizo paused a moment, allowing Yoru to go to his wife and child to introduce them to Rai. The Senju maiden looked shocked as her old friend introduced the small child as his own, but the look faded as the child wriggled in his mother’s arms, wanting to be let down. Rai crouched down, holding her arms out as the baby turned, looking at her with large violet eyes before pushing himself to his feet and toddling his way over to her. Scooping him up, She waved the boy’s arm at Yoru as Hirumaru giggled, causing Yoru to smile. He turned back to Raizo to continue their conversation.
“Yorumaru, why are you traveling without a guard? The Akatsuki isn’t gone. They are very much active in a subtle way and you can’t be acting on your own in this day and age. I’m warning you, there is a storm coming that even I cannot control. Prepare yourself. Rai, travel with them to make sure they arrive safely in Konohagakure.”
Faster than anyone could assume, the massive Storm Sage vanished with crash of thunder announcing his departure. Rai offered Hirumaru back to Mikiyo, before the two women joined Yoru at the opening of the earthen enclosure. Grinning, Yoru folded his hands behind his head as the small group continued their walk to the Hidden Leaf village. Aside from the odd highwayman, they were met with little opposition on their way to the village, nothing that Rai and Yoru couldn’t make short work of. It was almost nightfall by the time they reached the Southern parts of Fire Country, and the Hidden Leaf village was still a day away. The small village in the area was a great place to stop for the night, and the group decided to stay in the village inn for the night. With the women and his son safely in bed, Yorumaru sat up near a second floor window until the candles nearby had almost burned down to the base. He thought about many things while he sat awake, wondering how much the village had changed, who was still alive and around… and most importantly, how they would treat his family. He vanished from his seat, reappearing in the room with his family and friend. Blushing slightly as he glanced in the direction of Rai, he undressed until he was in just his shorts before laying on the futon by his wife and baby. Stroking the silent child’s hair gently with the back of his fingers, Yoru wished the very best for his little one.
“Hirumaru, my radiant light, I can only hope that you will be able to grow up in peace. This world is so full of judgment and hatred, and I will protect you from it as long as I can. I hope you can forgive me when I fail, and for setting your fate for you. I love you.”

Spoiler:
Two years after returning to Konoha Yorumaru and his family were managing well in the Hidden Leaf. Yoru’s adoptive mother Tai Li had long since retired from active duty, but she absolutely loved having her son back in the village. It was a dream for her, playing with Hirumaru, sparring with Yorumaru, and helping Mikiyo around the house. Each night, Yoru spent his time outside, thinking and planning out something he didn’t share with anyone around him, family or otherwise. In the late spring of their third year in Konoha, Yoru went out to the Konoha Memorial Stone in the middle of the night, preparing a letter before creating a Kegin clone to carry it to its destination. Yoru was seeking out a particular Kunoichi of the Earth country, a Hateshinai by the name of Lenaore. When he had first arrived in Konoha with his family, Lena was studying at the Konohagakure Academy, learning about the teaching methods of the Hidden Leaf Village. The Hateshinai clan is well known for being masters of the fuuinjutsu arts, and with one look she knew exactly which technique was used to seal the Sanbi away within Yorumaru. It was this expertise that Yoru was seeking out now, because for what he wanted to do, he would need an expert to make sure that nothing goes wrong. Several weeks later, word was sent back to Yoru, stating that in a week’s time, Lenaore will be returning to Konoha. In the week before Lena’s return, Yorumaru explained his plan with the Hokage, his wife, and mother. Yoru was going to request the Hateshinai to extract half of the Three-Tail’s power, and seal it into his son. Doing so in secret would allow the Bijuu’s power to remain somewhat protected from Akatsuki, or anyone that wanted to control the full power of the Bijuu. After a long time of explaining and convincing, it was decided that Yorumaru would know better than anyone if this was a good idea. Soon the day came when Lena arrived at Konoha’s gates. She was met by Yorumaru, Kaira, Mikiyo, and escorted to the Konohagakure hospital where Hirumaru was being placed into a comatose state by nurses. Tai Li watched everything like a hawk; the strong, dignified woman didn’t let a single move escape her sight as her only grandchild was being prepped for the sealing process. Yoru was led to a hospital bed next to his four year old child and placed into a similar state while Lenaore began to trace small marks over Hirumaru, creating a trail of seals that looked something akin to a spider’s web. Once Yorumaru was unconscious, Lena repeated the process with him, linking the two ‘webs’ together in several places before stepping back and hand sealing a long chain of hand signs. Two Konoha shinobi sat on either side of the sealing mistress on the ground, holding a single hand sign and chanting sutras to channel their chakra into the seals on both Yorumaru and Hirumaru. It took a full five hours of this before the seal marks that Lena had scrawled over the pair receded into them. Oddly, unlike his father Hirumaru didn’t bear a visible Fuuinjutsu seal by the time the process was over. Yoru and Hiru were awakened from their induced comas and Yoru asked if the Seal worked. A tired Lenaore nodded to him before collapsing back in a chair to rest, and Yoru scooped up his child, hugging him closely. After a moment, Lena stood up and moved to the door, glancing back, she muttered.
“I don’t envy your child. He’ll be considered a monster for the rest of his life.”

Spoiler:
It took several months before Hirumaru was able to adapt to having the Three-Tailed wolf sealed inside of him. Each night was a nightmare, and each day was an aggravating struggle with remaining calm and centered. He was only five years old, so centering himself was difficult. The portion of Kegin that was in Hirumaru allowed Yoru to intimately understand his child’s subconscious, and when the pair was playing one day, Yoru realized that physical activity was something that really helped the child focus. So every day Yoru took Hirumaru with him as he trained, helping the little boy improve his skills and prepare for the Shinobi Academy as Yoru continued to keep himself in shape and adjust to the slight power loss he experienced when he shared the Three-Tailed Wolf with his son. As Hirumaru got more involved in physical activity his apprehension subsided. The nightmares came fewer and more distanced apart and the little boy had fewer “power surges”. In one more year, Hirumaru would be starting the Academy, and each step closer to normalcy was a welcome one to his parents. In the summer months before Hirumaru’s sixth birthday, Yorumaru, Hirumaru, and Tai Li had gone out to the Konoha Memorial to pay respects before training, as was custom for the Middle-aged Kunoichi. After visiting the names of several of her friends and family, and some of Yoru’s, they moved to the large fields in the nearby area to begin training. Hirumaru sat cross-legged in the grass, waiting for his turn to play, as Yorumaru and Tai Li faced off in a friendly spar. Though the woman was at least twenty years Yoru’s senior, she was still a tough fight for Yorumaru, and her taijutsu was nearly perfect. She had taught him everything she new, or so he thought. He was decidedly faster with the help of the Three-Tails, but Tai Li’s battle senses had been aged to maturity, and Yoru couldn’t get close to her without taking several good blows. Something seemed off in the air, causing Tai Li to stop and glance around. Yoru hadn’t noticed because he was too thrilled with the prospect of fighting, but Tai Li had noticed that the birds had stopped chirping. Everything seemed deadly silent, and as Yoru flickered in to take advantage of this sudden stop of his mother, she caught him by the wrist, twisting and ending up on his back as he was laid out on the grass in a sudden, yet graceful movement. Hirumaru clapped before she shot a glare at the boy, before muttering harshly to Yorumaru, who lay pinned beneath her. Tai Li slid off of him and into her trademark fighting stance, facing the tree line to the east of the clearing that they were in. A solitary figure in a long black cloak stood at the far end of the field, unmoving. With the sound of a static distortion, the figure was within twenty feet. Yoru looked up from the ground, popping up onto his hands and feet in a bestial crouch, as he caught sight of the figure that he oddly hadn’t sensed. Looking over the figure, the long black cloak bore the marks of several crimson clouds. This visitor was from the Akatsuki, a dead organization brought back to life. In a slow and deliberate motion the man reached up, removing the hasa from his head and launching it skyward where it hovered like a feather.
“Yorumaru, you need to run away, now!”
Yoru gritted his teeth thinking about arguing with his mother, but she was gone, clashing with the mysterious Akatsuki member. Yoru knew that she could handle herself, but this was his mother; he didn’t want to leave her alone. Deciding to just get Hiru out of harm’s way, he flickered to his child at top speed, gathering him up in his arms in an instant and sprinting towards the village with all the acceleration the Three-Tails’ swift release could muster. As Yorumaru left with Hiru, Tai Li exchanged blows with the Akatsuki member, but it was increasingly evident that he was gaining the upper hand. Seconds of battle seemed to become hours as she attempted to kill this man outright. Although she fought valiantly, her age and exhaustion was catching up to her, and with a sickening crack, the man shattered her right arm. Pain and rage flooded her as she held her hand outward to one side. No longer able to hand seal, Tai Li attempted her single most devastating jutsu. As the Akatsuki man closed the distance between them, a golden ball of chakra formed in the palm of her one working hand and she thrust it toward the man’s torso. They passed one another as a breeze blew between them.
“You… stay away from… my boy…”
Tai Li fell to the ground, drawing her last breath as ANBU operatives and Yorumaru arrived back on the scene; the Akatsuki member nowhere in sight.

Spoiler:
The memorial service held for Tai Li was a difficult one, and to the Three-Tails’ hosts, a time of sorrow, anger, and regret. Hirumaru was so young, but he understood the heartache of losing a close family member; one of the first few people outside of his parents that accepted him. His already small world had just grown smaller. The child’s mind swam with thoughts, but nothing could drown out the deep, snarling voice of the Three-Tailed Wolf.
“This pain will be your starting point. Feed on it, grow from it. When you’re ready, I will give you the power to make the Akatsuki pay for what they’ve done to your pack and mine.”
Hirumaru wasn’t sure what the Three-Tails was talking about, and at the time he didn’t care. All he knew is it was bad and he couldn’t tell his father that he was feeling this from his inner tenant. Yorumaru always seemed on good terms with the Wolf, and Hiru thought that if he expressed this, he would probably make his father mad at the Wolf too. Hiru yelled at the wolf to be quiet in his head, and for the rest of the day, he didn’t hear a single word out of the beast. A few days later, Hirumaru started at the Shinobi Academy. It was already a few days into the semester, but Hirumaru was allowed to start late due to the passing of his grandmother. Walking into the room, he could tell that several of the kids had cliqued up, as groups of boys and girls all chattered quietly to one another. An Inuzuka boy covered his nose, complaining about an odd smell that flooded his senses, just as Hirumaru sat down in a row of chairs some feet away from the boy. Hiru put his head down on the desk, hiding his face as the loud child began pointing at him and calling him stinky. With reddened cheeks and ears, Hirumaru quivered angrily, before something came over him. He jolted out of his seat, pointing at the barking Inuzuka and glaring with yellow, slit-pupiled eyes.
”Shut up! You don’t know what the freak you’re talking about you mangy, big-mouthed loser! If anyone smells yucky it’s you and your kibble-breath!”
The moment the words escaped Hirumaru’s mouth he blinked, looking shocked and covering his mouth. The yellow, wolfen eyes faded back to his normal violet in an instant as he heard the chuckling of the Three-Tailed Wolf in the back of his subconscious. Everyone fell silent and stared at Hirumaru. Some girls giggled and whispered to one another, and the Inuzuka boy just stood, equally as shocked as Hirumaru was. His face turned red and his mouth slacked, before gathering himself up, about to let loose a chain of words he had heard his father use when he was yelling at some of the untrained Inuzuka ninken when a cloud of smoke poofed into existence by the teacher’s desk. A Chuunin stood with her arms folded, a glare on her face commanding the respect and attention of the class. Hirumaru immediately sat down, lowering himself down to be less visible as the whispering girls suddenly scrambled over to the seats to the right of Hirumaru; tripping over one another to get to the seat directly next to Hirumaru. The classes seemed to drag on for ages to the little Wolf pup. It began with a small quiz to see where each child was at in their understanding of the basic ninja arts, then they went out to the yard for exercises and some introductions of their classmates. To the girls’ dismay, the children were seated according to current aptitude and understanding once they were back in the classroom. Finally, each child was given a pack of practice shinobi tools and a small assignment to complete before the next day’s class. Glad that the day was finally over, Hirumaru slipped out of the classroom and headed for home, alone and as inconspicuously as he could.
