Rin Kishida is a 17 year old member of the Kishida clan, famous for
their ability to create and control fire. However, Rin is also quite
well known within the clan as well, but not for her ability to control
fire. In her 17 years of life, she had never yet showed any ability to
control fire, much less use a fire style jutsu of any rank. This was
most likely due to her mother not being from the clan, leaving her as
only half Kishida, and so only half chances of receiving the power. In
time, Rin decided to opt out for medical ninjutsu instead, and got as
many scrolls as she could, practicing in the Kishida dojo with the
targets every day, still hoping to add the flames of the kishida clan
to her arsenal of skills someday.

*Rin would open her journal that she decided to use to record the
events that occured over the next 5 years while she left with Tetsuya
Kishida, to train*

Day One-"Today was a pretty interesting day. Tetsuya, leader of my
clan, woke me up really early this morning, and told me to grab my
bag, which I prepared a few days ago with some of the essentials.
After I grabbed my stuff, I went outside to wait for him, and then he
came outside a few minutes later. Then we both just left. It's not the
first time I've been outside the leaf village, but I've never been out
this far before! The world sure is an interesting place. We walked all
day, only taking small breaks as needed, and now we've stopped for the
night. Dinner is ready, I guess, cause tetsuya is digging into that
fish. I'll write more later, but I'm guessing it'll be like this till
we get to the land of volcanoes."



Day 8-"Tetsuya and I arrived at the land of volcanoes, from what he
said, not that I doubt it. It's a barren wasteland out here, with
volcanoes scattered all over the place. Tetsuya seems to like it,
though I don't see how he could. It doesn't look like anything could
possibly live out here! Well, except for those pheonixs, of
course...oh well, tetsuya says we'll be arriving in a village tommorow
(at least I get to find out how people live out here!), before he
gives me some tools to train with. I'm so excited, I can't wait!
Tetsuya said we'll be gone for 5 years, give or take a few, so I'm
sure I'll get to learns lot from him in that time! I also hope I get
my seal in that time...that would shock the heck out of those geezer
elders!"


Day 97-"I still can't beleive tetsuya just DITCHED me here! All I got
was a note saying he was off for personal training and to hope he
didn't forget to pick me up on his way back! Stupid tetsuya!! Oh well,
I guess those medical scrolls he gave me can be helpful, amd I'm sure
he was just kidding about having to hope he comes back....right?"

Rin would fill out an entry for most every day at this point,
describing her days in this new village, her training sessions, and
the life style of the locals.

2 Years after Leaving-"Its been a few weeks since I last put anything
in here, but I've been getting a heck of a lot stronger every day.
I've been reading all of these scrolls that tetsuya gave me, and I
still can't beleive all the things people can do with medical
ninjutsu! Nor how persistent some of these samurai out here are!
Nagashi, who seems to be a kinda high rank amoung them out here, can't
seem to take no for an answer! Perv even had the audacity to grope me
once from behind! Nerve of these guys! How can a woman train when
she's that distracted?.....not to mention slightly flattered."

(there would be several lengthy entries about her training, and ideas
for a new jutsu she doesn't get into much detail of, and of nagashi
almost every day, telling of how she finally agreed to date him, they
went steady for several months, until present post)

2 1/2 years after Leaving-"Its really hard to focus on training now.
Or anything else really. It has been for a good four days now. Since
nagashi and that oth"-The entry would cut off, she clearly seems to
distracted to write. The journal remains empty for several more
months...

3 years after Leaving-"Tetsuya finally contacted me again. He says he
would like for me to send him new clothes through one of the pheonixes
at a meeting point several miles outside the village. I'll get him
some new stuff I guess. He also asked how my training is going, which
surprised me, as I thought he had forgotten about me by now. I'll tell
him about my plan for making a new jutsu through the pheonix when I go
to deliver his clothes. It's easier to focus on training now. Time to
go get tetsuya's things. Then back to training."

4 years after Leaving-"Tetsuya never said anything about my jutsu
idea. I guess that means he thinks it's not that good anyway. Though I
don't suppose he would be interested in my medical skills, but if I
have proved myself to have the kishida power. Training is going well
enough, as is research on my new jutsu.. I'm wondering when tetsuya
and I are supposed to go home. I'm really starting to hate this place.
There's almost no life here, the only rain you get it molten lava and
hot ashes, and your constantly surrounded by a bunch of perverted, sex-
starved samurai."

5 years after Leaving-"Tetsuya finally came back today. He seems to be
a lot different from how I remember him. Not only physically, but
mentally. From his reaction to me, I guess I changed a bit to. He said
we'll leave in a few minutes. So ends the training trip, and this
diary." She closes the diary, amd puts it in her bag. She grabs her
longsword, and belts it over her back. She grabs her ninja tool bag,
and straps it to her right thigh. Then she grabs her bag with all her
things, and walks outside, where she meets tetsuya, and they both
leave, Rin feeling ready to start the journey back home, a new person
then the one who eagerly left the leaf village all those years ago...
