She felt pain across her legs, knowing that it was nothing. She felt stabbing wounds, the cries of her friends and agony and only wanted to curl up and die to make it stop.
"Concentrate"
Across the haze of tears she saw nothing but darkness, blind in the forest, wanting to cry.
"Concentrate, Sumiko."
Her name finally pushed her through and she pushed her hands together to send a ripple of chakra through herself, setting her free.
"How long...." "Two point four seconds too long. You could be dead. Again."
And her mother sealed, captivating her daughter again into a hellish nightmare. | |
