Critting Multiple Times Per Round?

That covers crit range per attack, which is moot if you can't crit on secondary attacks.

So either the fact is that you can crit on secondary attacks normally, or you're offering a slot that does nothing without another slot that allows critting with secondary attacks. Clarification please.

So you need to get Crit/hit as a slot in order to crit on secondary attacks period?

I'd like to know the logic that goes into that, personally.

Same reason damage bonus is only once per round, its too strong for it to trigger on every attack, compared to DR/round. So instead of beefing DR/Round and DR/Hit to insane levels, we simply reduced total damage output.

But criticals are only active on a 20. Not every hit. And any case otherwise means that you've put a point in the +crit range, which keeps it at the power you're suggesting. I'm curious what the other mechanics' opinions are on it.

If you read Borutos post those numbers correlate to the increase in critical range. So it doesn't just crit on a 20.

The purpose of the thread is to ask why/if you need increased critical range per hit to crit at all with secondary attacks, which the original patch notes indicate.

I believe the answer is only if you have extended crit range.

In other words, lets say I have a slot bonus that gives me +8 crit range, why do I need per hit (a lower bonus) to apply it to secondary? Why not make it once per round for either?

Because it was determined it was too strong especially with players using it to multi attack as well. So we nerfed it.

So for clarification, the many things you can do with a crit deserves bigger cuts than just a simple damage bonus

To prevent crit stacking married with multi attacks for unusually high damage at low levels crit was nerfed. If it is too weak we will revisit.
