ACN + Kekkei Tota 'main elements'

Apparently its a thing that kekkei tota and ACN things have a main element, if none is listed all 2-3 base elements get added in to this other thing...
I'm told you can go and have a DR vs Elemental Type that effects an ACN by defending against its main element. Does the same apply for bonuses?
Could you have a jutsu/slot that says +1 to fire elemental rolls, and your kekkei tota that is fire mained gets a bonus - or if it doesn't have a 'main', can you have something like fire+doton+shadow, and have buffs for fire doton and shadow (Separately) apply to it?

I was wondering this same thing, if any of the root base elements with bonuses (rolls / dmg / dr / etc) apply to the fused version of the element?

no bonuses do not apply to kekkai tota/ACN with the base. The reason this was made is to make it possible to actually have a useful defense jutsu without having to list off a thousand different possible rewordings of the same thing.

IE: fire dr vs flame, solar, lava, etc etc, release. Wouldn't be fair to the defending person to have to make a new jutsu for every single special snowflake that comes along.

So all elements/styles either need a base element, or a type such as mechanical or hard/soft styles.

Summary: These bases are only for negatives/people defending against, no benefits are gained from this.

It doesn't apply to Slots. But I believe Jutsu would still benefit from it.

no. No benefits at all is gained from the base element.

^This, if you have + to Fire rolls, if you have a Tota, even if it's Base fire, you do not get any bonus towards it unless you have a slot that gives you + to rolls for that specific element. The Base Element really only works for DR purposes.
