Kallen had always felt as though his life's path had been set before him before he was ever born....His father had been a member of the puppet brigade, at least until he had been injured on a mission. Now the man spent his days working at a shop with Kallen's grandfather, a man that had never taken up the art of puppetry himself. But he had run a shop that specialized in puppetry parts, everything from chakra thread points to the pistons that some like to place within the arms of their dolls for added force behind strikes to the blocks of wood many used when forging bodies and armors for the engines of war...
And then there was his Great Grandfather...Kaiteko Shirogane...The man was seventy six....SEVENTY SIX and he had been the chairman of the puppet brigade up until his recent retirement. Though the man was retired Kallen was sure he would still be able to command chakra strings with the best of them. A man that had played no small part in Kallen's lifestyle choices.
From a young age the child found himself surrounded by buckets of spare parts, boxes of metals, the scents of his father's workshop....Wood polish, ceder, pine, oak.....The sounds of saws and files, of gears and hammers striking. "The Workshop" where his first memories often returned to him. Entire walls of countless shelves that seemed to tower above him in a massive labyrinth that to this day would appear within his dreams. And it always had been full of people....His father, his grandfather, his great grandfather, his cousin, friends that had stopped by, customers looking for ideas or materials, other members of the Puppet Brigade that wanted to work on a new task.
Memories of meetings that he by all rights shouldn't have listened in on...But then there had been dark corners to lose oneself in, nooks and crannies his cousin Kashisu had shown him. The same spots she used to hide in he had taken as his own and he had listened to their stories, to their ideas, to the missions they went on. The places they had seen, the people they had met and most importantly...The things they had managed to create with their own two hands.
Those stories had fueled in him a desire at a young age to work with his own two hands. And when his cousin had given him his own set of tools on his 8th birthday he had all to eagerly taken to his father's workshop. moving through discarded parts and blocks of wood that had been to small for use in the larger puppets the brigade might use. Within the week he had proudly carried out a small puppet of his very own...A tiny spider made of loose screws and scrap metals. A tiny little camera for its eyes. When he had presented it to his cousin she had laughed at the thought of it going into combat...But she had been intrigued by the genuine desire to create...
From that point onward she had been a constant support in his strides to becoming a member of the puppet brigade. Helping him with designs, offering him combat training, but never showing favoritism over someone that had earned their place more than he had. Family would always have each others backs but that did not give them the right to take the easy way out.

Burrowing under the sand, digging across the battlefield, appearing and stroking rapidly before returning to its hiding positions. Strong pincers, a deadly tail often coated in various poisons. Each strike aimed to be fatal.
Name: Ekkja Búa'til Type: Puppet Description: The second puppet ever created by Kallen'Dal, designed to be another quick action puppet able to mount a sudden and vicious assault. Unlike Muerte Atacar that was designed to disable its enemies with poisons and stuns, Ekkja will specialize in traps and bindings to hold them for the inevitable assault.
Swift Strike Out-Maneuver a slower opponent to push past their defences and deliver a blow. Type/Rank: E-rank taijutsu (STR/DEX) Costs: 1CP Effects: Single Target Attack, deals base damage-D2. Note: Defending against this with DEX takes a -1.
Suiton:
Bubble A single hand seal and the user uses their saliva as a water source to spit out a single bubble at high velocities that snaps violently on impact. Name: Efficient Construction RP: Kallen'Dal takes great care when crafting each individual puppet. Ensuring the build is made for efficiency rather than flare. While not as intimidating or as monstrous as some of the other puppets known to frequent Sunagakure's mighty Puppet Brigade the added effort allows for more maneuverability and less strain on the user. Each part made to do a specific job and aid others in their work. In short it reduces the chakra required to perform the same duties other puppet users might struggle with. Mixed with the knowledge and training of how each piece fits within the a given puppet it allows the user to cut the corners sometimes with puppets not their own design after spending time looking over the unit. Name: Recycled Chakra RP: From a young age Kallen'dul showed a unique affinity towards chakra...In spite of seemingly draining himself to the point of collapse he was often seen pushing himself back up, moving just a little further. Many assumed he was merely catching a second wind, others capable of seeing the chakra flow about him would notice it was something else entirely. The young shinobi was recycling and reusing his own chakra. The wasted energy that many just let fly out into the air was being drawn back towards him to reduce waste. It was far from a perfect system but it was often able to give him a faint edge. Even when using puppets he was able to create what many assumed were extra chakra strands. And while they were just that they were not being used to fuel his puppets but rather access energy being pumped back into his body to be used once more. Base I: Secondary Chakra Pool 3/1/10
