Clan Sakashou established itself in Sunagakure and grew to see its members become executioners for the military due to their bloody origins regarding swordsmanship. The clan's members weren't numerous but disgust toward them was palpable, as they were considered to be gratuitous killers whose blades were only good to chop off heads of prisoners, men and women who could not fight back. Their poor reputation didn't stop them from developing their martial skill under the protection of the military, which pushed some of its members to become Shinobi. A few others wanted to resist their family's legacy by becoming doctors - givers of life instead of death - but one thing remained constant: it w as impossible to make others forget the rivers of blood in which the clan bathed in. This short-lived lineage left behind an heir who grew away from his family, under the care of his aunt, and seemingly clean from the sins of his forefathers.

Ferocity Katsu has never been skilled when it came to chakra manipulation, and thus always relied on his physical and martial abilities to accomplish his duties as a shinobi. He has come to develop a killer instinct that he has learned to control, allowing him to enhance his physical abilities through willpower and ferocity, and to remain unfazed by pain due to mandatory masochistic tendencies to remain standing where another would be on his knees. Base: Gain a Secondary HP pool, referred to as Ferocity Points. Starts at 3 FP and maxes out at 10 FP. Regenerates at 1 FP per round. Upgrade I: Pool increases to 5 FP and maxes out at 12 FP. It regenerates at D2 FP per round. Upgrade II: Pool increases to 8 FP and maxes out at 15 FP. It regenerates at D2+1 FP per round. Note: Damage dealt is first done to Secondary HP Pool before Main HP Pool.
Savagery Having learned to externalize his ferocity in combat, Katsu can channel its energy into the edge of his sword, causing his blade to glow in a faint red hue and his strikes to cut stronger, and deeper. Base: Free Action - Gains +1 Kenjutsu DMG per 2 FP spent (Max of +4 DMG) to the next Attack. Upgrade I: Free Action - Gains +1 Kenjutsu DMG per 1 FP spent (Max of +5 DMG) to the next Attack.
Aegis Having chosen the Katana as his weapon of choice, Katsu has developed a technique that grants him dominance over his environment. Nothing comes close to him without his blade being able to reach it, effectively forming a sphere around him where he can reach with his blade to defend himself from any incoming attacks. He uses this steel palace to offensive ends, giving him the opportunity to counter attack his enemies' attempts at harming him. Base: Can try to counter attack an enemy's offensive with a basic attack after having rolled for defense. (Atk vs. Def) once per turn. Upgrade I: Can counter attack up to 2 times a round. Upgrade II: Can counter attack up to 3 times a round. Note: After having countered, by the end of the round, it goes on a 1 round cooldown Note: Deals base damage only. Does not gain damage bonuses from any source. Note: May only counter once per attack.
Scarlet Dance Katsu's skill with the Katana has developed to a point where his speed, reach and flexibility allow him to rapidly move from opponent to opponent, which allows him to perform risky acrobatic movements that lets his blade slice through more than one target in the same motion. C-RANK Rising Sun Sweeping the blade upwards the user builds chakra in their legs and weapon, leaping into the air a bit higher than a standard jump, and then dropping down with increased force on the other side of the opponent cutting down the back Type/Rank: C Rank Kenjutsu (DEX/STR) Cost: 4 CP Effect: Single Target Attack. Deals Base Rank Damage + 1D4
B-RANK Hurricane Blade Setting out a great deal of chakra into the edge of the blade, the wielder does a single cut all around them as the chakra cuts out in all directions around them, hitting up to three targets even at range. Type/Rank: B Rank Kenjutsu (DEX/STR) Cost: 6 CP Effect: Up to three targets. Deals Base Rank Damage + 1D2

E-RANK Swift Strike Out-manoeuvre a slower opponent to push past their defences and deliver a blow. Type/Rank: E-rank taijutsu (STR/DEX) Costs: 1CP Effects: Single Target Attack, deals base damage-D2. Note: Defending against this with DEX takes a -1.
