Healing Nin/ Medical Slot

Whats medical's specialties ?? Or do we pick them upon picking the slot ? And if not ... Why would some one pick the medical slot instead of making there own medical element ?.. Is there some sort of RP difference or something ? or am I missing something ?

medical is a discipline, not an element. There is no 'specialty' that comes with it.

If desired, you could create your own element incorporating medical into it (that'd still require medical discipline access).

That's the path I've gone with.

Alrite so if you want medical to have a speciality (Besides healing) you have to go Medical 1pp then take another pp slot for the speciality.

Thats the question, though: Does it -have- the specialty healing?

If you have an Element that has Speciality Healing you can access Healing via the Ninjutsu Chart.
If you have an Element that has Speciality Healing AND Medical Discipline Access, you can access the Speciality column of the Medical Chart.
If you have Medical Access you can access the Baseline column of the Medical Chart.

So if some one has a  Kekkei Tota(Or similar )- And they go (Damage/healing/X) + they have medical discipline . They can use both the Ninjutsu chart for effects and the Healing chart for healing stuff ? With the same Tota/Similair?
