Clan History

Hundreds of years ago, before the five nations were formed. The mountains that now make up the land of spring were home to a clan. However this clan was not alone, the mountains were also home to the wild dragons that used to roam the world.

Although these Dragons were wild and unable to communicate they were peacefull and kept to themselves. The clan in question were known as the Kimamichi, a powerful clan that had dedicated their lives to the way of the dragon. They studied them, cared for them, even protected them if it was ever required. Over the years, living side by side with the dragons they started to gain some of the characteristics of their firery friends. The clans people's skin hardend and was more resistant to the flame, they were able to weild fire with more ease then before, and they even started to become naturally stronger the more generations that passed. Noone really knows why this happend, the wiser elders of the clan beleived it was due to the mystical nature of the beasts, as if they rediated their chakra and it slowly leached into anything that was near by.

Many more years passed. Generation after generation lived side by side with the mythical beasts. But as the years past, the fear grew. What if the dragons suddenly turned on them? What if the dragons were just waiting till there was enough of them to kill them all in one night? The more the fear grew the more the tension esculated between the Dragons and the Kimamichi. It started off with just the odd random attack, a tail swipe here and there. But soon things got out of hand and it wasn't long before things took a turn for the worst. A pregnant women was out getting some herbs from the mountain side when a dragon flew down and sunk his razor sharp claws into her laiden stomach. The woman and child were killed almost instantly, this was war.

And so The Great Battle of the Flame began. By now the clansman were highly resistant to fire and as strong as ten normal men. They forged their weapons from the bones of the oldest dragons that had long since passed and charged up the mountain to meet their former brothers and sisters in battle. The dragons were no match for the Kimamchi, many lives were lost but in the end the dragons were slain and the world would no londer know their beauty.

After this the clan remained in the mountains, and were known throughout the world as the Dragon Slayers, the name that was given to their abilitys was Doragon Ryoushi or Dragons Bane.

Backstory

Hundreds of years after The Great Battle of the Flame a boy was born, he was named Mitsuru after the man who slew the last and eldest dragon. He lived a good life within the mountains, being the son of the clan leader meant he was trained in battle almost before he could walk, despite having the strength of ten men he always took a liking to the flame, spending hours upon hours reading scrolls about how the dragons used to ignite whole mountains in memory of a passing brother. He was one of the few members of the clan who wished they could go back to the old days, man and dragon living side by side.

One day a man enterd the village, he was old and feeble, and requested food and a place to stay for a few . The Kimamichi were used to finding people lost in the mountains from time to time so gladly accepted. That night something happend that Mitsuru would never forget. He awoke in the middle of the night to see his parents bed empty, despite it being the middle of the night a raging flare of red was flashing through his window. He looked out to see the whole village ablaze, smoke bellowing out into the sky and the old man standing in the centre of town, looking as feeble as ever. Mitsuru grabbed a lance from his fathers weapon rack and ran outside to see people being engulfed by flames at every turn. "Who could have done this? Where is mother and father?" he thought to himself. He run through the village centre were he finally found his answers, his mother lay dead at the old mans feat while his father was batteling furiously to beat the old mans flames.

"Father!" Mitsuru screamed. His father turned to him before telling him to run, the old man begin to laugh, Mitsuru and his father were the only one left alive in the whole village. suddenly some flames shot towards Mitsuru from all directions, at most he would have been able to avoid two of them, but then his father leaped ontop of him taking the full blast. Mitsuru's eyes began to water as his dad lay dead ontop of him, due to his strength he managed to force his father off before scooting back acorss the ground, he looked up at the old man and began to cry out. "Why are you doing this?!" he said, "I'm just returning the favour..." He grins although through the swealtering heat Mitsuru can't make his face out. "I'm going to ####### kill you! You've killed everyone I know!" And with that Mitsuru grabbed his fathers Lance and charged towards the old man, flamed errupted from the ground like a tidal wave infront of the man. Mitsuru simply stopped and looked up towards his certain death, He dropped the lance, curled up into a ball and closed his eyes. But... He didn't die? He didn't even get hit? Mitsuru slowly opend his eyes and looked up to see the biggest wing covering him that he had ever seen. "Aawww Draco, What are you doing?! He's the last one!! This is our revenge! This is what we always wanted!!" The dragon stood up straight, removing his wing from above Mitsuru and looked down upon the ant-like man. "No, this is what you always wanted. You have taken this hatred too far Daichi. We chose you because of your compassion towards us, but now you've gone mad with hatred, these arn't the people who killed our kin. That happend over five hundred years ago." The old man clenches his fist a moment. "NO! He must die!!" He then raised his arms back as two more pillars of fire spiral towards Mitsuru, the hundred foot dragon then let out a roar as he raises his from lets up and brought them crashing down onto the old man, the pillars of fire fading inches away from Mitsuru.

The dragon looked down at the mangled corpse of the old man, as a few tears begin to fall down his cheeks. "And so passes the first Dragon Sage.." He then looks back towards Mitsuru with a cold stare and starts to walk away, "Take me with you!" Mitsuru cried as he looked up in awe at the dragon. The dragon suddenly turned around and let out a terrifiying roar into Mitsuru's face. Mitsuru being blown off his feet just by this alone. "Do not dare think just because I spared your life that I care for you boy! I may not wish to exert revenge on your clan but my hatred for you all runs just as deeply as his did!" His wing would motion towards the old man. Mitsuru would then scramble to his feet and look the dragon directly in the eye (only being big enough to look into one of the dragons eyes at once) "I have nothing left here, my whole village is dead. I wasn't the one who killed your brothers, but I apologise for my ansesters mistakes! I have dreamed for so long about living in the days of old were man and dragon could live side by side in perfect unison. Please, take me with you! I wish to study your ways like the first of my clan did." The sight of a twelve year old boy standing toe to toe with a hundred foot dragon brought a smile to Draco's face. "You've got guts boy. But do you have the mind to follow it up? It takes more then strong arms to live like we do." Mitsuru took a deep breath thought for a moment. "I'll do whatever it takes! But first, let me bury my family." The dragon looked down at him for a moment, "How ironic that the last of the Dragons Bane now wishes to be the Dragons ally. Very well." And with that the dragon flew onto a nearby mountain where he waited. Mitsuru then single handedly buried every last member of his clan, giving them all seperated graves and markers. After saying a prayer for each of them the dragon flew back and he took them both to the hidden home of the Elder Dragons. Mitsuru then spent the next six years there, living and training as they do before Draco orderd him to go and live amoung his own people once more.

The Dragon Disciple

The Kimamichi can only ever have fire as an element but in turn gains a bonus to all Fire damage. (This also means no medical/puppets and anything else like that)

Description: The Kimamichi goes through a sickening transformation as they let the chakra that passed onto them over the generations take a partial hold of their body and change them. There spine seems to rip from their back as they grow dragon wings and a tail rips out of his pelvis from the back.

Description: The Kimamichi goes through a sickening transformation as they let the chakra that passed onto them over the generations take a complete hold of their body and change them. The mutation continues from before as the Kimamichi begins to grow dragon horns and their skin turns into scales, their organs begin to take on that of a dragon aswell making them able to manipulate the flame with greater ease.
PvP Effect: Free Action, +2 Attack/Defence, 19-20 Crit Range with Fire Jutsu.

Description: The Kimamichi goes through a sickening transformation as they let the chakra that passed onto them over the generations take a complete hold of their body and change them. It has now gotten to a stage where the Kimamichi is no longer able to contain the flame within their own body, a dragons flame far exceeds anything a human could create, even a Kimamichi so to maintain the power they have to unleash the flame around their body turning them into an infernal dragon demon. This allows them to use the flame as if they were one of their dragon kin and grants them great strength.
PvP Effect: Free Action, +3 Attack/Defence, 18-20 Crit Range with Fire Jutsu.

Training Logs - Entry 4

I was running through Water Country today when my body suddenly seized up, I had never fealt pain like it. Even moving an inch fealt like my limbs where about to break. Not knowing who was attacking me I tried to keep my wits about me, but then I was grabbed and lifted into the air. The wind rushed past my face so fast that my eyes started to dry out, I had no choice but to close them and loose track of my location. After some time I fealt myself starting to fall as the claw like clutches released me and I fell face first into a carpet of snow. I was able to move once more and quickly stood up, it took me a moment to get my bearings but it was clear to me that I was in my homeland, Spring Country. I looked up to see who or what had brought me here to see a familiar sight, two large wings blocking out the sun, getting larger and larger and they decended down towards me. I lept back as the Dragon slammed into the ground, causing several landslides of snow along the mountain side. It was Haroshio, one of Draco's Guards. He told me that it was time for my trials to begin, I do not know what he meant by the trials. Perhaps Draco thought it was time I learnt my clans Techniques that he holds untill I have proven myself. But the reward is of no matter to me, what matters is I can begin to proove myself to them and earn their forgivness for my clans mistakes. The years I spent with them were very lonely, I spent most of my time at Draco's side out of fear of what the other dragons may do should they catch me alone, but with time they learnt to accept me in one way or another but then it was time for me to go. Haroshio spoke to me about what it meant to be a warrior, he seemed to understand my answers but also corrected my logic where I had wavourd. My first task was to give him something of Value that didn't belong to me, at first I was spectical about the task thinking he wanted me to steal but then he explained that I could also earn or trade the item for the same result. I accepted then headed down the mountain where I found an old man walking the frozen paths, I asked him if he had anything of personal value that I could have in exchange for anything. He seemed curious at first but then told me he was on his way to collect a package from the Country of Steel. He agreed that if I went for him he would give me something of Value. I set off at once and a few days later I had arived in the Village of Iron. I headed to the tavern in search of the lady he described. Once there I found her tucked in a corner eating some food, I asked her for the package but she refused. She said that the old man would just have to wait untill she could be botherd to travel there, this was not good enough as I had a task to complete. I told her that if she would not give or trade me the package I would have to take it by force, she didn't take me seriously and started to leave. Battle broke out in which I was forced to subdue her by removing her eyesight with my Blinding Ash technique, I planted a tag on her and took the package. After warning her I would detonate the tag if she followed I swiftly made my way back to Spring Country where I found the old man and deliverd him the package. The item he rewarded me was not quite what I was expecting but it was true that it held deep Value to the man so was a worthy find for my task. I headed back towards the Mountain Peak where Haroshio was waiting, he was satisfied with my item then set me my next task. I am to spend some time meditating on how I plan to redeem my clans name and honour, something I have oftern thought about but never been able to find an answer for. But now it seems I am forced to finally make a decision on how it must be done.

Training Logs - Entry 5

It's taken me a long time to come up with an answer worthy of redeeming my clans name but I feel I have finally done it. I will rebuild the dragon nation, and be it's soul protector. It was my clan that was trusted with defending the dragons, and as such I shall continue to uphold that vow by rebuilding what has been lost and making sure the same mistakes do not happen again. The reason things got out of hand before was because my clan got too big, so to stop that from happening again I must simply defend them alone, for the rest of my life. A sacrifice I will gladly make.

Training Logs - Entry 6

I have visted Draco and told him my answer, he gave it much thought but has accepted my vow. I got the feeling that some of the others were not as trusting as he, but I hope with time I can show them all my heart lies in the right place. Draco took me to the Kimamichi archives and told me he was going to begin my training, this took me by suprise but I suppose if I am going to be the sole protector of the dragons then I need to be as strong as possible. He began by telling me the secret of the Kimamichi bloodline, aparently dragons contain so much chakra that it radiates around them constantly. And as my clan lived with them for hundreds of years we slowly began to take in that chakra and with it certain aspects of the dragon. There was one technique that was said to be our ultimate power. The ability to release the dragons chakra within us and transform our bodys to be more like our fiery kin. The first stage is called the Partial Transformation he told me, it involves me opening the seal that would normally hold the chakra back but using large amounts of my own chakra to withhold most of the effects, to unleash it all at once would kill me if I do not have the proper training first. I stepped into the middle of the room as draco showed me how to release the seal, I took a deep breath and followed his instructions. Before I knew what was happening my back had ripped open, I was face down on the floor in agony not even able to make a sound the pain was so intence. My spine was manufesting two new structures out of the gaping holes in my flesh. Blood filled the floor as I was trying my hardest not to loose conciousness. Draco spoke to me in his booming voice although I was unable to hear him over the sound of my bones breaking then reatatching themselves in different positions. And then, nothing. My skin and flesh slowly mended it'self and took form over the new apendages on my back, the blood stopped gushing out of the various wounds I has sufferd, all I remember thinking is nothing could be worth this pain, but then I rememberd why I was there, why I was doing this, why this pain was needed in order for me to acheive my final goal. I used what little strength I had to push myself up as the final bits of skin had grafted onto the new bones. I stood up tall and looked at Draco with painful determination in my eyes and he nodded. "You need to live with these for some time before learning how to undo what has been done, your body was not built for wings or tails, and as such it will take time for new muscles to grow around them so you can use them to your advantage" And with that he performed a hand seal that reverse summond me into the middle of water country, a bloody mess, hardly able to stand. I passed out, waking up some time later in the Kirigakure Hospital.
