| Ichirou sat in the basement of his families home. Reading a book his father had kept hidden from him prior to him releasing the Nenshou. It was interesting, the Kishida of past generations were so cool. They did things with the eyes Ichirou hadn't even thought of before. He couldn't help but wonder if he'd ever be able to utilize them to such an extent.
"Ichirou, it's time for your exercizes." A voice suddenly said from the basement stairs. His father had found him.
Ichirou released a groan of disappointment, he hated the exercizes his father forced him to do each day. He was way too strict about it. Though from what he's read in the Kishida's records, he was beginning to understand why.
"I'm ready, father." He stated softly, smoke already trailing from his mask.
His father didn't even hesitate, the heat around Ichirou's body had begun to rise to such an intensity Ichirou couldn't help but cring as he felt his skin burning. It was all he could do just to push back the heat enough to keep his body from erupting into flames right there. Sweat dripped down his face as he focused, his chakra wildly surging through his body as he struggles to maintain control. His father was so strong.
"That's not good enough, Ichirou. You must master this basic step if you ever hope to fully control those eyes." His father stared at him blankly. "Do you think the Fires of Hell will go easy on you, do you think they will spare you like I do?"
The question rang through Ichirou's ears. He knew it was true, he'd used them twice now, and both times the pain was immense. he couldn't imagine how much pain they would cause him when he really started to get into the full potential of what they can do. With a new determination, he closed his eyes and started to push back against the heat his father was creating around him. .oO(I will master this. I will master myself. I promised Sumiko-Chan that I would become strong. That I would find a way to perfect the Seal of our Clan. I can't just be satisfied with the bare minimum...)
"Good. Harder." His father stated, a grin almost appeared on his face, though Ichirou thought it was just a twitch of his lips.
Ichirou was exhausted now, but he continued to push, his chakra fueling him, he reached out, and focused on his fathers own body heat, and then he had an idea. Fight fire with Fire. Ichirou began to increase the heat around his fathers body, using it against him. His body temperature began to rise so much that the heat surrounding Ichirou began to die down, his father now being forced to go on the defensive. The shock on his fathers face was enough to make Ichirou grin, and then everything went dark. He had done too much. His chakra was drained, he couldn't keep his consciousness. The last thing Ichirou heard before he let the darkness take him, was a sigh from his father, and then a laugh. His father was pleased.

| It was colder than usual in the training room of the Kishida Household. Ichirou didn't like it. He took a step through the doorway and then it hit him. This time, however, he was prepared. He focused his chakra outward pulling at the intense aura of heat that was bombarding him, and he gradually began to lower it to non-existance. A slow clap came from the shadowed corner of the room as his father stepped into the dim light.
"You've come far, Ichirou, far enough that I believe you are ready to utilize your True Flames. As much as I'd like for you to change your mind, I know that wish is futile." Shiro said, a small frown on his face as he looks at his son. "None the less, you need to be able to protect yourself out there. I do not want to burn your remains in my lifetime. We will begin learning the Hellfire Ninjutsu."
Ichirou could barely contain his excitement. He was finally going to learn the Jutsu of his people, to use the Flames coursing through him in combat. He had waited for this day for years.
"I'm ready father." Ichirou said quickly.
"We shall see. This technique I'm going to teach you today is called the Rising Phoenix Blast technique. I'm sure you can imagine what that means. You will use your flames as a weapon, will them to rise from the ground behind your opponent and strike them. This can be used on multiple targets." Shiro had begun the explanation, Ichirou now listening very carefully. "To begin you will focus on a position behind your target. Maintain that focus. Create an area of heat upon that location and raise it until you can ignite it to complete it's purpose."
"How will I know when it's ready?" Ichirou asked.
"Let the Flames tell you that. They are your tool, your ally, albeit one that will one day stab you in the back. They will be your key to knowing when your technique is ready to be unleashed."
Ichriou wasn't sure what that meant, this was after all his first time truly using his flames for anything more than lighting candles, or starting the kitchen range. His fater set to setting up the usual practice dummies in two corners of the room. Apparently those were to be his targets today.
He began his breathing exercizes first. Tempering the flames within, increasing the heat around him. Steam rose gently out of his mouth in an almost continuous stream as he let his mind reach out, pinpointing the spots he was going to use as a spawn point for the flames. His eyes quickly began to fill with fire, whirling around his iris' like a raging maelstrom. The heat nearly exploded from him upon the release, but he was able to contain it, pushing it to the locations he had selected. He could feel the power inside him raging, demanding to be released. But he continued to wait, gradually increasing the heat in the desired locations, the air visible becoming hazy in each spot.
The flames were almost too difficult to contain now. If Ichirou held on any longer they would have burst and destroyed everything, possibly even himself so he brought his hands outward and clenched them into fists.
Joushou Ootori no Jutsu!
Two sparks ignited in the two corners of the room. Following this were two large flames rushing upwards and smashing into the training dummies, setting them ablaze. Ichirou couldn't help but smile despite the sweat from the strain dripping down his forehead.
"It's not perfect." Ichirou said critically. "The flames are meant to take a physical appearance of a Phoenix rising behind your foes, those were just shapeless gouts. You have the basics but I want you to practice this technique twice a day, until you can do so without feeling pain from your eyes. Until they take the desired form."
Ichirou nodded once and he let the flames of the Nenshou Kamaitchi die out, when the light died out incredible pain rushed through his head, searing burns around his eyes stung at him causing him to cry out and fall onto his knees.
"Welcome to your first true day in Hell. Ichirou." Shiro looked at his son with pity, knowing full well the world his son had stepped into, and he walked out of the room. Ichirou continued to kneel there through the pain, for what seemed like hours before he could finally make himself move, he needed to sleep.

| Ichirou took another step into the small training room of the Kishida household. It was quiet again, it seemed his father was still not there. He sat on a small cusion and propped himself against the wall while he waited, looking towards the metal door on the other side of the room. That was a room he didn't enjoy entering. The Kishida's Interrogation Room. He'd been in there several times since his Nenshou Kamaitchi had awakened, and it was a frightening place.
There had also been men and women brought into that room by the Village, spending terrifying hours alone with his father. He shuddered at the thought at what went on in that room. He shuddered at the thought that he would someday inherit that room as his own.
The Steel door on the other side suddenly opened and Shiro walked in calmly, glancing at Ichirou with his cold eyes.
"Good. You're early. Today we will imprint another of our techniques into your mind." He walked over to the training dummies and propped one in place in the far end of the room. "You will get it down to the basics here, and practice on your own. Stand over there." He pointed to the side of the room opposite the dummy.
Ichirou took a few steps and situated himself in the spot he was told. "What am I learning?"
"This technique is called the Dragonfire Technique. It's another C ranked technique that releases a lot of power on a single opponent, works even better if the target is ensared by Ninja Wire. You will create a wave of heat between yourself and the target you want to strike, then pour your flames and chakra into it and ignite. The flames should then erupt toward your opponent and incinerate them."
Ichirou nodded once, he had been practicing the last technique since he learned it and he was getting better at controlling his flames. Hellfire was a great tool, but he knew it would take time before he mastered it completely. He spread his feet a bit and got into his stance as he began his breathing, his eyes beginning to heat up as the flames begin to swirl around his Iris'. The heat exploded from his body and he worked hard to contain it and move it where he needed it.
His eyes never left the training dummy. Linking the heat of his body to his target he began to mould a stream of chakra into it. Flames began to burst from his pores swirling in the air and moving into the heat. He thrust his hand outward and made an attempt to ignite his chakra however the flames just seemed to make a small burst and fizzle out halfway to the dummy.
"No, you need to keep the stream constant even after you ignite it. Do not stop adding the fires to it when you've ignited the stream, keep it up until you've added enough to burn your target to ash." Shiro said in a disatisfied tone.
"Yes, Father." Ichirou took in another deep breath and re-entered his stance. He began to breath slowly, focusing on his inner flames for now, tempering them, allowing them to grow until ready to erupt from him. Once he was finished there, he turned his burning eyes towards his target once more, linking them together with a single wave of intense heat and chakra. He began to pour his flames into the wave and when he believed he was ready, he thrust his hands forward once more and ignited the stream.
Ryuuka no Jutsu!
This time a large wave of flames erupted outward towards the target surrounding the dummy in a gout of intense flames before finally they began to fizzle out, the dummy now heavily scorched.
"Good, you're getting better at this Ichirou. I'm actually starting to get impressed. That's enough for today. Practice it as well as the other, when you're ready I'll call you back in here for the next lesson." Ichirou offered a bow to his father and let the flames die out in his eyes, bracing himself for the intense pain that cut through his head. Though there was no preparing for that, it came like a knife slicing through every inch of him, forcing him to his knees for what seemed like an hour, until he finally managed to force himself out, and leave the room.

| Ichirou was relaxing in the foyer of his home, watching customers come in to eat at the diner section. Today was his day off, and he intended to use it being lazy. Though he had this intention originally, there was one person who had different plans for him.
Shiro walked down the stairs and came straight over to him. Ichirou was already feeling a sense of dread, knowing full well the man was on his way to commence with the torturous training regiment that he had had him doing the last week.
"Let's go, you've got work to do." His father said flatly then turned on his heel and headed back for the stairs.
Ichirou breathed a low sigh and pushed himself up from the ground, wondering what new skills he would learn today. Once he made his way past the steel doors of the training room he closed them behind him walking to the center and stood straight, waiting for instruction.
"You will be doing two techniques today. I do not expect you to master the second today, I do not even expect you to master it within the next week. We will, however, get to that when you finish this simple Jutsu first."
Shiro walked to a table stacked with Kunai, Ichirou already had a bad feeling about those but he said nothing and waited patiently for his father to continue the lesson.
"I'm going to throw these at you, you are likely to leave this room with several wounds. However if you prove to be the expert at Ninjutsu I believe you to be, you will leave with none." He flicked a kunai into the air a few times. "This first move is a D ranked technique called the Blazing Substitution. It's a Hellfire Technique so you will use your own flames to complete it. Release your fire from your pores, cover yourself in them until your entire form is aflame, with them create a copy of yourself as a distraction, and make an escape from my attack. The copy should simply explode upon impact."
Ichirou listened closely, he did not want to leave the room riddled with holes from his fathers kunai, but it was only a D rank technique, he had mastered a few of those easily enough anyway and had two C ranked Hellfire jutsu in his aresenal now, this couldn't prove too difficult.
"We will begin now, begin preparations, I will not tell you when I'm going to throw, so be ready." Shiro continued to flick one of the kunai into the air, almost menacingly. The man was an artist with a blade, a talent he was slowly passing on to Ichirou.
Ichirou began to focus, just like with his Ryuuka no Jutsu, he released the flames of his body from his pores, covering himself in flames, he began to mold his chakra into them to form a copy however pain had already seared through him. A Kunai stuck firmly into his leg.
"I said be ready. You will try again." Shiro said, a hint of disappointment in his tone.
Ichirou cursed under his breath, trying to push the pain from his leg out of his mind, though it was proving difficult, he poured his flames outward quicker this time. Molding his chakra while he was doing so, instead of doing each in steps. He managed to form a copy of himself out of the flames, a second Ichirou standing before him as he crept back quietly staying in his duplicates shadow, a kunai went flying and struck the copy, an explosion followed and the kunai stuck into the wall behind where he was, smoke rising from it from passing through the fires.
"Good, you have it down. I want you to practice it in simulated combat one your own time. Now return to the center of the room and we will begin the next project." Shiro set the Kunai he had remaining in his hand onto the table and waited for his son to move to where he was told.
"This next move, you will not get down today. This is a B ranked Technique and is one of our most complicated of the grade. Master this and the others will come easily to you." Ichirou was excited by this, a higher ranked technique meant his father was recognizing that he was becoming stronger. "This is the Hibashiri technique, you will conjure two or three depending on the situation and these flames will fight and defend you as you will. However while you're using this technique, you can of course use others of our style, however I would recommend against it until the flames dissapate. You will need full concentration to maintain control over them."
Shiro raised his arms before him as three plumes of fire, weaving there almost snake like appears in front of him, slithering in an almost threatening manner before Ichirou. He was impressed, the technique was beautiful, and he was sure potent. HE couldn't wait to get started.
"It's a similar concept of the Joushou Ootori. You will focus on multiple locations, create a spark among a mass of gathered heat and chakra and form the flames, you must constantly maintain them so it will continuously use your chakra, which is why I say it is best not to use other techniques while they are active. They are good both for offense and defense as well as for fighting multiple foes at once."
Ichirou took in his fathers words carefully. It seemed simple in theory, but he was sure it was going to be a lot more complicated than his father was making it sound. He began to focus his chakra to three seperate spots in the room, molding in large amounts of heat. The more he poured into each spot the hotter it began to get in the room. Ichirou didn't notice this until it was too late, as soon as he ignited each spot the amount of heat created around him caused a large explosion which threw him back hard into the wall. His ears were ringing and his head was thumping with pain as he slowly slid to the ground onto his butt.
"I had a feeling that was going to happen on your first attempt. It's a difficult thing to properly measure the heat and chakra ratio, as you've now seen putting in too much will result in an explosion which could cause disasterous effects for you and your team if you lose concentration at any point." He held out his hand to help his son up. "We will continue this tomorrow, remember everything I've told you and be here at dawn. I expect there to be no explosions by then."
Ichirou groaned, not looking forward to waking up that early, despite it being normal now for him to be awake before dawn for training. His father kept him on a very strict schedule and he was beginning to get used to it, but it didn't mean he liked it.

| The sun was just rising over Konohagakure, and Ichirou groggily moved his way to the training room as his father had ordered. Far too tired for early morning training but still determined to complete the task at hand. He had been going over the technique's formulae the night before, having put aside his work on perfecting their clan seal, he needed to get this down or his father would never let him hear the end of it.
"Good, you're on time for once." His father said as Ichirou made his way through the heavy steel doors.
"You said dawn, it's dawn." He replied sheepishly.
"I hope you worked on the technique at least a little, otherwise I feel you'll be making friends with the wall a bit more today." His father grinned at him and took his usual spot in the corner of the room. Ichirou found his way to the center and began his breathing exercises. His father seemed to be watching him closely as heat began to build up around Ichirou's body.
"Today, when you've created the running flames, you're going to use them to defend against my attacks. If one gets through, you fail. Understand?" Ichirou nodded once and took a stance. "Good"
Ichirou brought his hands outward, focusing on three locations in the room and building heat around them, pushing his chakra into each spot, with a gesture of his hand he created three sparks, each ignited into a larger plume of fire that seemed almost snakelike as they waved about through the air before him. His father made no hesitation he through a small fireball at Ichirou and he waved an arm outward, one of the running fires slithered in the way of the fireball only to be snuffed out by his fathers move, leaving only two left.
"No. You must maintain complete concentration if you want it to cancel out my technique and remain active. Again." Shiro through another ball of fire at Ichirou and he made another gesture, a second flame rammed into the fireball, this time snuffing the ball out, hovering menacingly between Ichirou and shiro.
"Better. I feel with enough practice this technique will come easy to you very soon. We'll stop now, I don't want you to exhaust yourself to the point of blacking out. We still have work to do in the diner this morning and your mother will kill me if I let you take it easy." Shiro smiled and ruffled Ichirou's hair, together they walked out of the room down to the diner.
